We live in Dallas and decided on a last minute road trip to Austin this past Labor Day weekend. I couldn't not have been happier with the townhome! In fact, we are planning a return trip in November. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! The townhome is located centrally making it easy either by foot or a short car ride to get to all of the major destination spots in the downtown Austin area. We visited, with ease, the downtown area, SoCo area, Barton Springs, Rainy Street, Lake Travis, & lots of outdoors shopping and food attractions. I could go on forever about all the great things to do in Austin but let's move on to the experience we had staying in this townhome. There is ample parking which is great being in a city where it can be difficult to find parking. The exterior of the townhomes are adorable and well maintained. The interior is impeccably clean and just down right adorable! The living room is nicely appointed with clean and new like furniture. We were very comfortable lounging around in the mornings drinking our coffee and planning the day ahead! The dining area has a very unique table and quaint chandelier above it. A great spot to have a bite and read the local papers and menus that are conveniently in the townhome for you to review. The kitchen is wonderful! It is very clean and is equipped with all that you need for your stay. Granite countertops, stainless appliance, silverware and cookware, and even sugar, tea, creamer etc.! :) The laundry appliances were great as well. Very clean! The bedrooms upstairs were perfect. Nice bedding and great closet space for clothes and luggage. The bathroom was very clean and also had a great amount of space for all your travel toiletries. The home has lost of cool art throughout. This is a fabulous townhome! We had a great stay and plan on returning many more times in the future, Dominique was wonderful to work. She is very prompt with replies and a pleasure to speak/work with. I highly recommend this rental to all looking for a nice comfortable stay in Austin.

Great spot in the middle of everything!
Great spot in the middle of everything!
This townhouse is in perfect location for people who want to adventure into downtown and for people who want to try out some amazing food trucks just south of the river! The house was super clean and comfortable. It has definitely been updated on the inside and had numerous kitchen appliances to use. We fit 5 girls in there with no problem and we still felt like everyone had space. Dominique was very helpful in answering my questions about the location and I would highly recommend this townhouse to any of my friends making a trip down to Austin in the future. I would highly recommend visiting the numerous food trucks just south of the townhouse and taking a short cab ride over to the bars on Rainey Street! Thanks again Dominique!

Manager response: So happy you liked it at Inn Town Vacation Rentals...We hope you come back soon and enjoy Austin again! Your guests were delightful .
Just completed a two night last minute stay at this property. This actually a cluster of 8 townhomes. We stayed in one of them. It was very nice. Clean, well maintained, nice sized backyard and comfortable for my wife, young daughter and dog. I think it might be a little tight for a large family or one with a couple of older children. Dominique is the manager. She was very accommodating and helpful. We had a small issue with the heater. Nothing that major but she did everything she could to assist us and rectify the situation. I can't say enough about her. I booked this stay literally hours before arriving. No issues. It is very convenient to SoCo, downtown and Town Lake. I will say that I wish the driveway were a little less steep but other than that, I honestly can't complain. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

Manager response: So happy you enjoyed your stay. What a lovely family you have... It was so funny when I did my jog around the lake and there you all were doing the same thing on a beautiful sunny February day in Austin Tx...Please come back
We spent three nights at this property and fully enjoyed it. A total of four of us which worked out just fine. Property was well maintained, unit was in great shape and had all the amenities we were looking for. Location is nice, not far from South Congress and downtown. Dominique was very helpful through the booking process and check in was painless. If you are looking to lounge around and watch TV, might be a bit of a drawback as just antenna channels on the TV and not a lot of space if more than four people watching. TV was a nice HD panel. We weren't there for that so no issue for us. Internet worked fine. Bottom line; highly recommended if you are looking for a clean, comfortable rental close to Austin's main attractions. We would definitely book here again on any future Austin trip.

Nice Place to Stay
Nice Place to Stay
Stayed here early November and was glad the townhome was just as described for the most part. I was looking forward to the tempurpedic mattresses but they weren't what I expected. We slept well, but it was more of a regular mattress w/ a tempurpedic topper. Also, if you have more than 2 staying in the townhome, the 2 side chairs in the living room aren't designed to relax in and watch a movie. The two chairs in ours didn't even have arms. We decided it was too far to walk to 6th Street and got a cab for about $10 each way. In short: the place was very nice, clean, roomy, well lit, modern...just not a place for more than 2 people to comfortably relax and watch a movie (if you like to do that sort of thing)...the big TV and Netflix were nice to have though!

Manager response: Thank you for your input! In response to your comments ....We decided on getting tempurpedic toppers because guests have complained that our tempurpedic mattresses were too soft. We thought the modern look of the chairs suited the room well but will certainly be on the look out for chairs that match the modern stream line look that are better for TV watching..Im surprised a cab costs $10 to downtown ...Downtown is only 5 blocks away...Cant help but wonder if the cabbie drove you the wrong way....all and all thank you for your input...We like to know how our guests feel and always try to grow and stay on top of our guests needs
Awesome place to stay in central Austin
Awesome place to stay in central Austin
I came to Austin for a long weekend to see Jimmy Vaughan play at Antones and to visit a friend. When I arrived at the condo I was given a choice of which unit I wanted to stay in. Each one was so unique with its own musical theme and furnishings that I had a hard time deciding. I finally settled on the Willie Nelson one. All the units must have been very recently updated because they were all super new looking and clean. The one I stayed in had bamboo flooring, and the bedrooms were upstairs and had really nice white fluffy linens. There was plenty of parking right in front of the building. The location was also great. We were able to walk to downtown Austin in just a few minutes. I'm not that familiar with Austin but there were a lot of really cool shops, restaurants and bars in the downtown area that we walked to. Overall, I'd say this is probably one of the better places to stay in the area and it was a great value for the money. I would definitely stay here again. Actually, I plan to come back in November with my boyfriend for the F1 car race and we are planning to stay here then. Oh, and Jimmy Vaughan was great! Also the opening band was awesome too, an all girl band. I think they were called Blue Bonnets or something like that. Highly suggest checking them out if you're in Austin.

Manager response: We are thrilled you liked the property. You were lucky to be able to pick your unit they are often booked so guests cant usually pick one.We have worked hard on having them all comparable with care and thought put into each home so they have their own unique flair. Looking forward to having you here for F1 ....oh and Jimmy Vaughan is one of Austin's best guitar players ! Glad you got to see him
Outstanding Property for a Couple or a Group!
Outstanding Property for a Couple or a Group!
We had a group of 12 and booked 3 units at this property. Each unit was great - clean, comfortable and relaxing. The units are tucked right off of the street with a private parking area, so it was quiet and isolated. Also, there was not one speck of trash outside, or dust on the inside. Great local artwork inside and the memory foam beds are a nice touch. The location can't be beat. Within walking distance or a 5 min. cab ride to SoCo, Zilker Park, East/West 6th St., Congress bridge,Rainey St, Eastside, or even the UT campus. We didn't use our cars the entire time we were there. Some in our group rented bikes from around the corner to use. Also, plenty of great food trucks down the street. Dominique was very polite and easy-going. Very accommodating. She and another representative were around to make sure we had everything we needed as well. I would recommend this property to families on a vacation or a group looking for a home base for the Austin late-night scene.

Manager response: Thank you for taking the time to write in....Delighted you liked it at Inn Town Vacation Rentals! You were wonderful guests and I hope you come back to Austin and have more fun
We stayed in June 2012 for 3 nights, and the location was absolutely perfect. We had no trouble finding it or getting in. The AC was a little slow during the hottest part of the day, but it was fine since we weren't there during that part of the day anyway. The listing was pretty accurate as far as what the town home looked like, although the pictures made it seem a bit larger than it actually was. The property was clean, except the master bedroom bed had what looked like dog hair on it. I am thinking whoever stayed previously had a pet and it was on the bedspread at some point. No big deal - we just washed all the sheets and left the bedspread on the closet floor for our stay. Cons: We brought our three children with us, and the reason we stayed in a house rather than a hotel was to save money on meals. We only ate out once while we stayed in Austin. However, if you are planning to do that at this property, be sure to bring some cookware with you. There is a very minimal amount of cookware on site - a couple of small skillets, a small saucepan, some glass mixing bowls, etc. There are plenty of utensils and plates, but I would bring some plastic cups for drinking, as well. We also had to purchase toilet paper while there - 2 small rolls for 5 people (4 of which are girls) is just not enough for 3 days. If you do bring groceries, etc with you - there is not too much storage or counter space in the kitchen area. Another con for me was that I have a child who likes to clomp up and down the stairs, and it drives me crazy. The stairs weren't too steep or anything, she just wanted to constantly be on them - so if you are traveling with small children, keep that in mind! Pros: The location is EXCELLENT. We were close to everything we wanted to do, and everything was very easy to find. Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park, the Capitol, 6th Street - pretty much anywhere you want to go in Austin is close. Another pro was that there is not cable or satellite, so we spent good family time together. If you have an Amazon Prime, Netflix or Vudu membership, then the (very nice) television will hook you up to it, and there is also a dvd player. There is plenty of cabinet space in the upstairs bathroom, which I love. I can't stand to go somewhere and not have a place to store my toiletries or the case they are in. The house was beautiful, and I loved the custom table and artwork in it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property.
