KAUHALE MAKAI ALSO KNOWN AS VILLAGE BY THE SEA The condo is #630 and boasts being the best located 1 bedroom in the complex. It is the top floor with a penthouse view. There is NO parking lot view or noise. This one bedroom (sleeps 4),has a comfy king size bed, central air conditioned fully furnished oceanfront Condo.
The entire suite focuses on the awesome ocean views. Lanai off both living room and bedroom suite for whale watching and star gazing. On windy days - its a windsurfers paradise!
The bedroom has a king bed with a brand new bamboo floor and flat screen tv. We have added soft overhead lights to add to comfort and romance. The living room has a comfy pull-out couch. Enjoy and relax. This is a six floor complex and we are on the sixth floor (there is an elevator) with unobstructed views from both the living room and bedroom. The beach is only a 100 foot walk across the complex lawn.
The kitchen remodel was just finished Aug 2011 expanding it with new cabinets, appliances and a amazing granit counter. You can now view the ocean while cooking and sitting at the counter bar.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the condo yearly for the last five years. Every year the owners have made upgrades in the condo including a total remodeling of the kitchen this last year. The views from both the living room and the bedroom are as good as you can get. They include the ocean and the Maalaea Bay & Harbor with the West Maui mountains in the background along with a view of the swimming pool area. The grounds of the condo complex are meticulously maintained and the personnel are always very helpful. The information in the listing does not do justice to the condo. It is way better than the descriptions. If you want to have a great place to stay be sure to rent this unit. We can’t recommend it enough.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We stayed at the condo for our honeymoon from 11/14/ to 11/23, and it couldn't have been any better! Upon arrival the condo was very clean and ready to go. It is fully furnished with very nice appliances and even has everything you need at the beach. The lanai is immaculate and it was a joy to bbbq and watch the sunset each night. It is as close as you can get to feeling like you are at home, the condo is amazing and if we ever go back to Kihei we hope to stay there!!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.
