This beach house near downtown Port A has amenities galore! Take a short ride downtown or to the beach on a golf cart that can be yours for $100 a day for the first 2 days and $75 a day after that for all additional days on a first come first serve basis when you rent this house. Golf carts are in short supply on the island and are very expensive to rent. This is an incredible savings and very convenient.

This brand new, loaded 3 bedroom and 2 bath home provides plenty of space. The floorplan is very open making it perfect for large groups and entertaining.
The master suite has a plush queen bed with private master bath. Another comfy queen is in the second bedroom and the third bedroom is a bunk room for the kids. The second bedroom and bunk room share a bathroom. Both bathrooms have a tub and shower.
The contemporary kitchen has Silestone countertops and stainless steel appliances and is equipped with every pot, pan, dish, bowl and cooking utensil you could want.
The dining room table sits 8 and there are 4 barstools at the breakfast bar. This home is a home away. It is set up for entertaining and feeding 12 people. Everything is here.
The couch has a pull out sofa bed. If you don't want to do that, the couch has a chaise lounge on one end. Comfy!
There are flat screen tv's in every room. There is a dvd player in the family room and master bedroom. The home has WIFI and direct tv. There are board games and books for everyone's enjoyment.

For the fisherman, there is COVERED BOAT PARKING beneath the home and a stainless steel FISH CLEANING table with sink is there for your convenience. With a bay boat under the house, there is still PARKING for 3-5 vehicles!
There are exterior hose bibs and water hoses for washing down ice chests, shoes, boats, golf carts, etc
The dining table seats 8; and there are 4 Barstools, as well. The kitchen is nicely appointed with Silestone countertops and Stainless Steel appliances; a chef will be at home here.

We spent 4 days and it was an excellent set up for our 5 kiddos. Golf cart made it easy to come and go to the beach. The house was in great shape and the owners were easy to work with. Loved it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This house was a perfect get away for the week. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was just like the owner said it would be. When we go back to Port Aransas I hope this house is available.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Extremely clean and well appointed. We had everything we could possibly need and plenty of room for our kids and grandkids! Even though home was not huge, by any means, we had plenty of room for our 5 kids & grandkids and never felt crowded. Was nice to be able to keep bay fishing boat underneath the house which was also a great shady place for our 2 granddaughters to play. It was fabulous to have the golf cart; the 19-month old wanted to "ride-ride" all the time! Would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

House was wonderful!! We had plenty of room with 12 people staying here. Great kitchen and barbque area. Had other relatives come over and eat with us also. Great having the area under the house to use and the pool was a plus after being on the beach all day. The golf cart is also a big plus. Had everything we needed and then some. Look forward to staying here again next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house was great, by far the nicest place we have stayed in our 27 years of vacationing in Port-A. The pool and golf cart were a definite plus. All the amenities that were included made our stay a definite winner. We had such an amazing time at this beach house. Jim was a wonderful owner to work with making our stay that much easier. We had two families that rented this house for almost a week and it was perfect. Spacious, nice decor, and awesome ameneities. The golf cart was icing on the cake. It was great to have a golf cart the whole time without paying to rent one. It is like he is really giving you an extra $200 value a day! The location to the pool is also perfect. Great view from the house and easy to walk over to. The decor of the house is really nice too, makes you feel like home! We had a great vacation in this home! It worked for our gender mix - five girls and two boys, plus two sets of parents! Spacious living areas. House is nicely decorated with tasteful furniture and pretty coastal artwork. Lots of windows give light and airy feel. Common pool nice and very close. Downstairs shower and water hose helped keep house sand-free. Owner attentive. Close enough to town and beach to walk if you want, which I did a few times. Use of golf cart a huge plus. Ditto for full size washer and dryer. We stayed 7 nights and had almost all meals in. Kitchen adequately provisioned (could've used another baking sheet and baking dish, but we made out ok). Large fridge. Overall, our vacation in this Port A house was a wonderful experience...lots of fun had by all!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This beach house in perfect. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations or a better location. The house is incredibly spacious and has everything anyone could need. It's a new construction home and everything is brand new. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed along with a very spacious living room and full Direct TV package. The best part about the beach house was the ability to get anywhere in town via the golf cart. We went everywhere in the golf cart including the beach, shops, and restaurants.It was nice having the pool right next door too. Port Aransas is a very fun place and this house is in the heart of the island. We had an unbelievable time and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a Texas coast vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

It's taken me a while to write my review, because I honestly could not put into words how exceptional this place (and its location) is. I have told just about every single friend and family member how spectacular this place was, and in all honesty, I'm trying to figure out when we can visit again. It was the first trip where I didn't want to leave and here's why; The place is so spacious and easily accommodated our party, which included 5 adults and 4 children. There was still room for more too! The fully stocked, full-size kitchen was perfect in the exquisite newly constructed home. The house is also so conveniently located near the hub of the town. The grocery store is right down the street along with restaurants and bars if you chose to go out. The house is right next door to the pool, which was so convenient, but the beach was so unbelievably close that we spent most of our time there. Having a golf cart and being 2 blocks from the beach was perfect. We were a large party so we also purchased a car permit for one vehicle ($14-16 for all of 2012), and then took the cart to the beach for quick trips to/from the house for more food/drinks/bathroom breaks. It was invaluable! The house was well equipped with everything you would want and even things you may not have thought of. We used the full size washer and dryer every single evening and it really cut down on over packing. Plenty of linens and towels too! I do have to say that the other HUGE plus was the complete cable package with movie channels. At night the kids would go to sleep and the adults would hang out in the living room and watch basketball (it was during the playoffs) and movies. Did I mention the free WiFi? Because that was absolutely something unexpected in a rental. My friend was able to work from the beach house one of the days we were there. How perfect was that? The owners did a fabulous job outfitting the home and making it extra special. The place completely exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend this rental home. I hope I didn't miss anything because our stay was absolutely a dream vacation! After many hours of research, I along with eleven other people chose to stay at Baton Hatches. This property was perfect. It has tons of space, and plenty of extra linens. The washer and dryer were a big plus through out the whole trip, making the return home much less hectic. All of the amentities that were needed to cook, clean, and live a normal home life were included. The house stays really cool, which is perfect in the summer time. As for the outside of the house, there is plenty of parking, and lets not forget about the golf cart. The cart seemed to be brand new, and had no problems the entire 5 days we were down there. This vacation home was everything and more than we hoped, and the hospitality from the owners was exceptional. All in all you can't go wrong staying at this vrbo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
