  My family of 4 (14 yr old and 10 yr old) had a wonderful, fun filled, relaxing vacation at Karibou Kabin. The cabin had everything promised, was really warm and cozy, comfortable couches, beds, full, well stocked kitchen. We BBQ'd outdoors, watched movies and relaxed at night by the fireplace (plenty of wood) and hiked, fished and went to nearby caverns during the day. Quiet, convenient location. We will be coming back!

  We were pleased upon arrival, directions for entry were accurate and easy. Cabin appeared fresh, clean and well stocked. My family was pleased! The neighborhood was nice, quiet, and convenient. We will make plans to re-visit in the summer time.

  This cabin was the perfect quiet mountain retreat. We could not have found a better location to relax, read, play board games, and watch a little TV. We also took the dog swimming at Lake Alpine and White Pines Lake and went shopping down in the cute and quaint town of Murphy's. The cabin was clean and comfy and had all amenities needed for our 4 day stay. We will definitely be back to Karibu Kabin!

  Cabin was comfortable, quiet and exactly what we needed. It was nice to see that there were plenty of games for kids, plenty of bedding and that house was clean and well stocked. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here.

  We had a wonderful time in the Dorrington area. The cabin was very nice, clean and had everything we needed. The instructions from the owner were very precise and easy to follow. Our family rented one other cabin nearby plus a family cabin is located in this same area. We toured various vineyards by limo, went ziplining and cave repelling, visited a craft fair, pancake breakfast, hiked, had a picnic as the park in Murphys, visited downtown Murphys quaint shops and had great meals at local restaurants. We had a couple of family BBQ dinners at the cabin. The weather was perfect. It was a wonderful family vacation.

  This was a great "cabin". My husband and I wanted to hike with our dog, and it was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The cabin was very well maintained and had an excellent assortment of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Much better than some other houses we have rented. It was very conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. The owner was very responsive to all my emails and it was easy to pay as well through paypal. We had a great stay - thanks!

  Thank you for sharing your wonderful home! It was a great mountain retreat for my family (young family + dog). The house is exceptionally clean and tastefullly decorated (not full of knicknacks and clutter like so many other rental homes). Beds were comfortable, and kitchen stocked. The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. My one suggestion for the owners (and heads up for visitors) - in other homes we have found a 'welcome binder' very useful. Something identifying the nearest grocery store/gas station, favorite restaurants, things to do (hikes, wineries etc)... It's a little work but really pays off for guests...

  Immaculately clean throughout, a well equipped kitchen and fabulous setting. We swam in Alpine Lake and the Stanislaus River from inside Big Trees SP! Lovely with no cell phone coverage or internet. We'll come back again!

  We had a really nice time, the house is cozy and still a good enough size for our two family's to not feel cramped for our get away (We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children). The house has lots of amenities, and it feels more as if you are borrowing a friends place than renting a get away.
