  The description and photos tell all, and there's no discrepancy between them and the reality. This is a well-equipped, clean and comfortable apartment for two people. A peace- full setting - apart from the occasional plonk of golf balls on the second hole fairway - and, when we there there, no noisy neighbours. Nice swimming pool; meals available in the golf club-house, and the supermarket within 5 min. drive or 15 min walk away. Plenty of eating options of all varieties and prices in the near neighbourhood. Difficult to find a reason to give it anything but top marks.

  My husband and I spent all of February, 2011 in this apartment. I was surprised at how quiet it was. The grounds are immaculately kept and the apartment was quite adequate for us. The housekeeper came Tuesdays and Fridays at 9AM and was very friendly. The walk to the beach and supermarket was about 15 min. for us. We did not rent a car. We used the market's free shuttle to come back, but you must be patient as the wait can sometimes be long. You can also take a cab for $6 USD. The apartment is convenient to the bus stops. There is a restaurant on the golf course and many nice restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was as described, albeit a little smaller than it looked on the pictures. The air conditioner and fans are wonderful! Anytime I had to call the property manager with questions, my calls were handled quickly and efficiently. The neighbors were very friendly, the pool excellent and well maintained! You can't go wrong here. We would return to this property again! After you tour the island and see what else is available, you will be proud to say you "live" at Rockley!

  My husband and I spent two wonderful weeks at 435 Pleasant Hall. It is a very well appointed studio appartment. It was extremely clean and everything we needed in the kitchen we found. Pots, pans, sharp knives, French Press and anything else one would require to cook a good meal. All appliances worked well and it was great having a full sized fridge.The maid service was very good and the property manager always helpful when you called. It was very quiet and pleasant with our balcony overlooking the golf course. We were close to restaurants, grocery store, post office and most important beaches. It was a short walk to pick up buses to go farther afield. Our friends were in another unit and we hosted them for dinner a few nights and used the grill on the good sized balcony. The lanaii is automatic and if you have a rain shower you can still sit out and enjoy the warmth. We had a terrific time and hope to go back to the same unit next year.

  absolutely loved the apartment, location was good, abit away from any noise (if there was any in that part of the island) very peaceful, safe environment. We admired the beauty around us and the lovely sounds we could hear and the greenery. Shops were nice and local and quite surprisingly dont close till quite late, like around 9ish, So if you arrive for example on a sunday and you need to buy the basics, you can get to the shops as long as its before 7pm. The pool was perfect, just 20 seconds away from the apartment. That area was really quiet too, maybe one or two other small groups around maximum. Rockley Beach about a 15-20 minute walk, but if you didnt want to walk, an excellent bus service that cost 50p that would take 2 mins to take you up the road, if youre lazy like me. The cleaner was lovely also, people there very friendly. The resort staff were there if you needed anything, ever so helpful! The laundry facilities were great, they were shared and were down stairs (like a 10 second walk) i quite miss the big massive machines now! Great cooking equiptment , EVERYTHING was just perfect for us and we'd definitely come again!!! thankyou Kirsty!

  We enjoyed Barbados very much and we loved staying at this attractively decorated, well-equipped studio apartment overlooking the golf course. It even comes with its own family of green monkeys that play in the trees! Lots of flowering shrubs along the walkways provide beauty & shelter for the many birds whose songs we awoke to every morning. It is an excellent location. The apartment had everything we needed. We are so pleased that we found it on the internet. We especially liked the landscaping & having all the big trees around us. We spent a lot of time at the pool & at Accra Beach, did an island tour, went to Oistins on Friday night and on a sailing & snorkeling cruise. We did a lot of walking ( the distances were longer than indicated ) & also travelled by bus a few times, once to explore Bridgetown. It is a beautiful island - we were sorry to leave!

  On our visit to Barbados, we loved staying at this attractively decorated , well equipped studio apartment overlooking the golfcourse. It even comes with its own family of green monkeys that play in the trees! Lots of flowering shrubs along the walkways provide beauty & shelter for the many birds whose songs we awoke to every morning. The kitchen has everything you need . Ceiling air conditioning & fans kept us very comfortable . The unit was clean & quite well maintained . Equipment in the unit worked well although the toaster oven seemed underpowered to us so we didn’t use it & the clock was not working. ( However you don’t really need a clock in Barbados, do you! ) The maid service was just fine: the pool area & laundry facilities couldn’t have been better. The grounds workers & all staff were all helpful & friendly. Beautiful Accra Beach, , St Lawrence Gap, grocery srores , a bank, post office , book stores & various other shops & restaurants are all within walking distance but all are more than 10 minutes away (closer to 15 -25 mins away) We especially liked Accra beach, spending time at the pool , morning coffee or a cold drink in the afternoon on our patio deck & all the friendly people we met at the pool , the clubhouse dining area & on our walks around the property. The bus service was frequent , easily accessible , cheap & easy to use ; the locals are always happy to chat or to help you out with information. We found the owner to be to be very helpful & informative . The real estate company was slow in advising us that they had received the $ we had sent to them, but Christine, the realtor assigned to us in Barbados was great . We would definitely recommend this accommodation to a friend /relative provided they enjoyed walking ( as we do) or intended to rent a car .
