Waikomo Stream Villas, considered “a little gem of Poipu”, is situated on 3.9 acres of lush, tropical gardens. You will see why Kauai is named “The Garden Isle”. A smaller condominium complex, only 60 units, Waikomo is situated within walking distance of all of what is fantastic about the resort area of Poipu Beach: world class golf, amazing beaches, trails, restaurants, shopping, snorkeling and other water sports.
Villa 101 is a 1000 sq.ft., 1 bedroom, 1 level condominium with easy access: park your car right outside the front door and enjoy the convenience of ground level entry.
Our condo sleeps 4 people with a large bedroom containing a king size bed and a queen size pullout in the living room. Everything you need for a memorable vacation is included in our unit. Villa 101 has been upgraded with a new kitchen, bathroom carpeting and paint.
The lanai off the living room is a beautiful setting amongst the peaceful stream and lush tropical vegetation. The grounds at Waikomo are impeccable. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai listening to the stream amidst the tropical oasis setting or your glass of wine at the end of a busy day doing the endless island activities.
You will appreciate the open concept living space of our unit, with a lanai off the front and as well in the rear. We have two ceiling fans in the living room and in the bedroom, for your comfort. Waikomo has such a beautiful breeze that air conditioning is not needed. Listen to the birds, the waterfall and the frogs at night.
The birds, frogs and roosters are all part of Kauai's Island charm and some people do take a couple days to get used to waking up to their sounds. This occurs all over the Island. We provide an extra fan in the bedroom for really light sleepers.
Walk across the street to the Kukui'ula Village that has many shops, a grocery store and restaurants.
Also shortly down the street you will find the Kiahuna Golf Club. A 30 second walk from the front door and you may enjoy the sparkling blue pool with an additional kiddie pool, change rooms and tennis courts. Or a short 8 minute stroll will bring you to the beach where there are endless activities to choose from: surf lessons, snorkeling, tanning, swimming, boating and whale watching.
Enjoy watching the migrating whales throughout December to May.

my husband, myself and one year old son loved our stay at waikomo streams. the grounds are lovely and lush, felt like we were in the jungle although it's only a 5-10 minute walk to 3 great beaches, and not much longer to walk into poipu beach. the place was really clean and spacious and stocked plentifully, lots of beach toys in the play cupboard. waikomo streams is less than a 5 minute walk to one of the shopping spots as well which was really convenient. great price, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. thanks so much jayne. becky, dave and corbinRecommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My sister and I met for a trip to Kauai and stayed here. It was perfect! Spacious and backs onto a lovely stream and tropical garden. We enjoyed breakfasts on the lanai and our walks to great little spots nearby. The kitchen was well stocked and the chairs and coolers were used every day we went to the beach. The step stool was nearby for those high reaches. After a long day of sightseeing or being at the beach, we always enjoyed coming back to our comfy condo to relax! Thanks Janye and Wes for providing a lovely stay!Recommended for: Girls getaway.

The condo was very nice-really enjoyed our stay. One thing, though, could have used one of those kitchen stools to reach the top cabinets in the kitchen - we are short and couldn't get to them very easily!! We will recommend the place and would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just spent the past 6 days in this unit. It is a fantastic condo with everything you could possibly need. Close to great beaches & restaurants & a great place to use as home base to tour the entire island. We would highly recommend it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My two teenage daughters and I really enjoyed our time here at this precious gem of a condo. We loved the open floor plan and the quiet seclusion. The property was fully equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of bath towels for all of us. The girls really loved the wireless internet! Having the in suite laundry was also great convenience. The pictures truly don't do this home justice... This condo was also close to everything such as a quick stroll to the beautiful sunsets on the beach to a quick walk to the shopping and restaurants. I'm really going to miss my morning coffee on the lanai with the tropical trees and watching the koi swim in the stream. We will definitely be booking next year!!! Thank you to the owners with providing us with all the information about the area. We really felt this was a home away from home.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

When we arrived at Waikomo Stream Villas and opened the door to unit 101 we instantly felt a welcome atmosphere of rest and relaxation. The unit was spotless, clean and very well equipped. All we had to do was purchase some food and beverages (Costco is in Lihue). The pool was very clean and well maintained, yes, a nice suntan was acquired laying in the sun around the pool. The beach was only a 5 minute walking distance away and was very clean and the water warm and clear. Excellent restaurants and pubs are within walking distance or a short 5 minute drive away. The island pace is nice and slow and definitely relaxing. Kaua'i is the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands and has a very distinct history. We would definitely recommend a Jack Harter helicopter tour that will take you all around and across the island and into the wettest place on earth "the heart of the old volcano". We will definitely return to Waikomo Stream Villas as it is an excellent vacation destination.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.
