Come and enjoy the fantastic lake and mountain views off our rear deck. On a clear night, you'll love looking up at the stars from the hot tub or out on the deck. Inside curl up by the fireplace with a good book or movie, and take the chill off our cooler spring nights.
Our home offers a year round fantastic view of the lake and mountains. Come get away from the city and enjoy yourselves in our cozy, secluded setting surrounded by hardwoods. Relax and unwind in our private hot tub with stereo system, while star gazing at night. Have your morning coffee sitting on the deck out back while watching the boats gather on the lake below, or on the front porch swing listening to the birds.
We are at the end of a drive by itself, yet very close to town. Just 1/2 mile off the main rd below and just 2-3 miles to groceries and shopping, public beach, picnic area, playground and regional fairgrounds and music festivals.
Large Great room has a wood-burning fireplace and beautiful wood ceiling with a full view of the lake thru patio doors opening onto the rear deck and hot tub area. Living room furniture has 3 recliners to relax, read, watch tv or watch the fires. There is a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining area and 2 snack bars for casual eating. Kitchen sink looks out into great room and lake view, keeping the chef and guests interactive.
Master bedroom with queen bed is on the main floor with double doors opening up to the master bath. You have a full view of the lake and mtns from the patio door, which opens onto the deck. The open staircase takes you to the lower level family room, which has a queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen tv. The two bedrooms are adjoining with double doors, which offers privacy for each or one big room for couples with children. Main guestroom has a queen bed and adjoining room has a daybed and desk area. Both the bedroom and family room share a patio area outside. Lower level full bathroom with tub/shower is conveniently located for all guests.

This is an amazing property. I had the privilege of staying here with my family during my graduation from Young Harris College. The property is within easy reach of Blairsville, and Hiawassee. There is plenty to do and see around the area. I would recommend this cabin to anybody. It easily slept 4 and could accommodate 7 even 8 comfortably. It was clean, bright, and welcoming. Anytime I come back to visit the college this will be the first option.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The cabin, amenities, and view were world class. Listing and description are accurate. Everything was well organized. Owner runs a tight ship. I'm counting up my money to see if we could live there full time!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Very nice views from deck and hot tub. Saw lots of deer and turkey each day. Easy to get to and one of the few houses I have rented in the mountains that has lots of parking. Would recommend this house.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We spent a great weekend here in March. This cabin is just what we wanted. It feels secluded yet is close to everything you need. It is obvious in the condition and decor that the owners take great pride in this cabin. We were even visited by a couple of deer while there. The hot tub was awesome early in the morning while drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. Very, very nice cabin. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is a beautiful and relaxing home away from home. The hot tub is AMAZING with music and lights and a gorgeous view! We loved cuddling up in front of the fireplace and relaxing on the luxurious furnishings. This house has a great kitchen and is very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing and/or romantic getaway. We had two couples on our trip and it was more than enough room. Excellent place, great price, helpful owner!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful home. Very clean, Well stocked kitchen. Close to town, yet private. The hot tub overlooks the Lake with Mountain background just as the picture shows. Everything was in good working order. Directions laid out on how to use the electronics, (nice move). So many times, we've had to try and figure it all out. The owners left a delicious Zucchini cake for us upon our arrival. I highly recommend this place. Would liked to have had a thermometer either outside or a sonic clock so we could have seen the outside temps. Being from Florida, it was hard to know how to dress some days. Just an idea. Owner is very nice and easy to work with. Thank you. Had a great Thanksgiving.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

My family (3 generations of us) had been wanting to enjoy the changing of seasons in the north Georgia mountains from some time. Being from Georgia we know the diversity of the state but had yet to really spend time in the northern region until now. Boy are we glad we did so at this cabin. From the moment we walked in until the painful moment we had to leave we felt at home each moment. The rooms were well appointed and felt so lived in without feeling "cheap and used." The privacy of upstairs and downstairs arrangements also allowed us each to have great privacy. On more nostalgic nights we were able to warm up and enjoy the fireplace while a touch of modernity was easily accessible by either high speed WiFi Internet or one of the three flatscreen TVs with digital cable. There was something for everyone. The kitchen was also well appointed. We even found a steamer basket which oddly enough we had been wondering if we should bring for a dinner we had in mind. And let me not forget the ample coffee mugs. There is nothing worse than wanting a great cup of coffee but realizing all the mugs are dirty! Located down a short, private driveway, the cabin felt secluded and "in touch" all at once. We were but minutes away from great restaurants (including Michaelee's and Hawg Heaven), a well stocked grocery (Ingles...which even has a Starbucks!), and nature adventures (Lake Chatuge, hiking trails, an App Trail trailhead, etc). I highly suggest you find out why I am so smitten with this place. Rent it for your next mountain getaway. You won't be sorry.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
