We just came back from a great weekend at this beautiful cottage. It is more beautiful than in the pictures. There was alot of room for everyone, toys for our kids to play with, relaxing furniture and beautiful scenery. We went skiing at Fairmont and swimming after, which is just a short 20 min. drive away from the cabin. Overall....it was a great time, buliding great memories....we would love to go back.....Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We were likely one of the first renters for this property. We had 4 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs, and were all housed comfortably. There a few hills in the area to choose from, but we went to Fairmont, as it is a great little hill that the kids can enjoy almost unsupervised. It is also great value with the hot pools included in your lift ticket. This property is very quiet and secluded, and we enjoyed exploring.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Just got back from our getaway! We loved the stay there! Had more people come than planned and we fit everyone easy. Had 13 adults and 9 children. The housework there and remodeling looks awesome! Would stay there again definitely!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Hey YA ALL!! Lol. Thanks for the stay and the review! I'm sure to show the extedned family the amount of people you comfortabley slept and convince them we can do the same. Maybe it wasn't family.... Glad you had a good time and can share The Best Kept Secret. Chris

We enjoyed this very large home, just minutes from Columbia Lake. The place is very well represented in the photos. It was great for our 3 year old with so much for him to do inside and outside. The views were amazing and we spent a lot of time on the front veranda just enjoying it. The location was very peaceful with no traffic noise. We had some issues with water pressure but were left with instructions on how to remedy it. However, we had to perform the actions repeatedly after each time people showered or bathed so that was a small bother (the only reason for the good instead of excellent rating). The house is very well equipped with everything (and then some) you would need for a great stay. The owner was available by phone to answer any questons, although cell coverage was not great there we were able to get some at the front of the house.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This cabin/house was perfect for our small group get away to beautiful British Columbia. What a peaceful setting with a great view. The deck was perfect for sitting out in the fresh mountain air and shooting the breeze. The kids loved playing on the playset, tramp, and deck too. Fairmont isn't too far away (15-20 min) so the hot springs were easy access if you have a car as well as several golf courses and hiking trails. I'd rather stay here than rent a place in Fairmont. I'd go back again in a heart beat! Would be a little difficult to access for folks with disabilities due to the stairs in and out.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had such an amazing time at your cabin! What a perfect place to have our family gathering with 2 families and the grandparents. The home is so warm, inviting, and beautiful! The area has beautiful views and is quiet. Lots of space and beds for all of us. The kids had a blast playing basketball on the deck, jumping on the trampoline, playing games, going for local hikes, soaking in the nearby natural hotspring, going to Fairmont Hotsprings, and golfing. In the evening we had a fire in the outdoor fireplace on the deck and roasted hotdogs while we watched the sun go down over the lake. We will never forgot this amazing time we had to spend together at your beautiful home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Beautiful home! Amazing location! Quiet, peaceful area. The listing covers it all and more. Thank you so much for opening and sharing your home with us. We loved everything. Our daughter loved the play structure and trampoline. Wish you had satellite t.v. for the rainy days but thankfully there was only one of those. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to stay again next year.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

What a fantastic, well maintained home. It had everything we could ask for and more - so much for the kids to do! Plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. We didn't spend much time exploring Canal Flats, but hope to next time. It's close enough to Fairmont to take advantage of the hot springs, spa, golfing, etc. and far enough out to sit and enjoy the natural surroundings; we had visits from local wildlife every day. We are looking forward to planning our next trip. Thanks so much for having us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

5 couples, one kid and one dog we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful log house which was very tidy and clean. House was equipped with all daily use stuff. The ambiance was great with lake and mountain’s view. Not just we did but our dog and our friend’s kid enjoyed a lot as well there was kids playing area with slides, swings and trampoline and a huge deck where you can sit and enjoy the nature. It was very quiet and relaxing place we enjoyed the surronding and wood burning fireplace inside and outside was awesome. We will definitely like to come back there some other time if we will get chance. Thanks Chris for renting it out to us hope to connect with you again for the same :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
