This 1800 square foot two story, two (2) bedroom, two and one half (2.5) bath, condo features dual master bedrooms each with a king size bed. One master bedroom features an oversized master bath with dual vanity and mountain views. The other master bedroom features, jetted tub, remote control satellite TV/ DVD, a writer’s corner, and a private lake view balcony. Downstairs features a large living and dining room area centered around a stone fireplace. Step outside the expansive glass doors onto a sprawling private deck and take in those stunning lake vistas. Grill your favorites on the dual burner gas grill. Serve your guests from the fully equipped kitchen. We rented this condo as a girls weekend trip in February and could not have been more pleased with our accomodation. The condo hosts a breath-taking view of Watauga Lake with plenty of beautiful surroundings. The unit is extremely clean, welcoming and is perfect for a family or small group. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to get away for a quiet weekend.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our friends and us arrived at. Hillside Haven and was completely satisfied. It appeared we were the only ones at the villas during our stay. We were traveling on bikes so parking was not a problem. The villa was well furnished. The 2 master bedrooms with king size beds and their own bath was a plus. Everything was as described. The view was wonderful. Definitely recommend and will plan on a return visit in the future..Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I booked Hillside Haven thinking I was getting a "cabin in the mountains." Oh my! I was VERY pleasantly surprised! We were completely amazed at just how wonderful this place was! The best part was THE VIEW of beautiful, clear, peaceful, quiet Lake Watauga from both the living room balcony AND the upstairs bedroom balcony. It took my breath away. There was nothing that we needed that the owners had not thought to supply! Beautiful hardwood floors, open floor plan with the kitchen looking into the living room, overlooking the lake, fireplace, grill, dishes, with all new appliances (including waffle iron, blender, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator, oven, full size washer/dryer). The kitchen was new. The bedrooms and bathrooms were big and up to date. There were plenty of towels, laundry soap. The place was SO clean. My family and I had a wonderful time there! It felt like home!! We cooked most meals, enjoyed swimming in the lake and hiking. There are MANY activities available that we just did not have time for because we were too busy relaxing on the porch :-) They allow dogs, which really increases you family enjoyment (if you have a dog.) We will tell all of our friends and will visit again!! My mom and I needed some time away, no distractions, no worries, just quiet and calm. We found just that at Hillside Haven! Clean, accomodating, and comfortable, we never once said "oh, I wish we had....."; everything we needed was available. The view was, of course, breathtaking--looking out through the sliding windows at the lake and the mountains was truly a fantastic part of the experience. The beds were restful...the area quiet...in short, it was even more than we had anticipated! Our only question now is, when do we get to go back?!?!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
