Your own private luxury retreat is this beautiful home situated on the shores of the St Joe River with 135' of private shoreline, surrounded by mountains and beauty, yet just 20 minutes by boat to the southern end of Coeur d'Alene Lake. This newer built home offers all the amenities wanted along with the peacefulness that only the river can give.
After a day on the water, relax with a drink on one of the expansive decks while soaking up the sunshine and endless array of beauty and nature, Gods gift to us. There will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor dining and BBQ under the pergalo or on the stone patios.
Each room has been meticulously decorated with unique furnishings, enhanced with artistic plasters offering an Old World Tuscan experience. Family and friends will enjoy gathering in the Great Room surrounded by rich woods, vaulted ceiling and a large stone encased gas fireplace. The adjoining family room and kitchen with center-island will make any chef happy.
There will be no need to flip a coin as to who gets the king-bedded Master Suite as there are two of them, along with several bedrooms with water view balconies and other bedrooms with sliding glass doors opening onto the decks. Check your casting ability as you just might catch a fish from your doorway!
Although every room has a gorgeous view of the river and/or mountains with abundant trees and wildlife, the river is where the action is and will be your playground for swimming, boating, skiing, kayaking and fishing. Bring your own toys and have a blast! Relax, rejuvenate, get on river-time with your loved ones and creat your memory making vacation here.
Evenings will bring a special treat with the sky offering great star gazing as they are brilliant without the interruption of lights. The moonlight streaming on the water will entice a kayak ride for sure. What else could anyone want in this picture perfect home and location.
Although you will feel millions of miles away from the hustle and bustle, we are just a short hour and 20 minutes from the Spokane,WA airport and 55 minutes from Coeur d'Alene, ID. The small logging community of St. Maries is just up the road about 2 miles and they offer grocery stores, pharmacy, brand new hospital and clinic, liquor store, several resturants, community pool and park, churches and friendly people.

With five out-of-town families joining us for our son's graduation, we needed plenty of room to accommodate the celebration. This home was a perfect solution with plenty of bathrooms, a convenient kitchen, and a beautiful setting. Everything was very clean and just as described in this listing. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. We were so lucky to find this home. We were traveling with four families and had a bedroom to spare. This is a beautiful house with plenty of space to spread out. Everything was clean and the owners were more than willing to help answer all of our questions through the week. About the owner: After years in the business world and living in a large city we decided to slow down our pace of life. The St Joe River held wonderful memories for us and our 4 children so this seemed to be the best place to enjoy our grown family, grandkids and friends. This is why we fondly refer to living life on 'river-time'.
Why the Owner Chose St Maries:
Because of the natural beauty, slow pace of life, friendly small town atmosphere and looking for a new challenge, we decided to build a bed and breakfast along the St Joe River. We have loved our guests but constantly hear how they would love to return with their families and enjoy our home. Thus, we decided to offer our home just for this purpose and now people can enjoy what we have been enjoying.

This custom built home, decorated by the artist/owner has drawn compliments from many. This beautiful home in a picturesque rural setting offers the ability to slow down your pace, enjoy mother nature at its best and have the water to play in are the makings of a perfect vacation for couples or a family. Our home is beautiful yet comfortable offering plenty of things for everyone to enjoy. The deck chairs will be just the right place to read that book you have been wanting to get to, sunbathe in privacy while watching boaters and skiers go by, take time to have FUN again while roasting marshmellows in the firepit right beside the river. Biking trails and scenic byways offer endless beauty.
