This classic North Lake Tahoe cabin was built by our family in the 1970's and it's been a year-round family vacation home since then. A large great-room upstairs has seen many games of Risk and Murder! (the family equivalent of Parcheesi) through the years. Also upstairs is the kitchen, dining area and one bath. There is a new sofa sleeper in the living area also. The large new redwood deck upstairs off of the main living area is perfect for BBQ and socializing-its forested setting is quiet and peaceful. The main entrance to the home is downstairs. Off the entry way there are the 3 bedrooms-#1 with a Queen bed, #2 with a Queen and a twin, and #3 with a Queen and 2 twins. The shared bath and laundry room are also off the entry.
We recently re-decorated and updated the home and also purchased new linens. Walk to the beach or hang out at home-Our family has been enjoying this home for generations, we are sure your family will also!

Let me start by saying that this is an awesome house and the customer service of the owner, Peter is great. The location is nice, very close to the lake so summer vacation will be fun. We went in winter and it was a perfect white Christmas. There is a Safeway for grocery and other services near by so that is very convenient. There is also a snow park with sledding hill and snow mobiles, so fun for kids and adults. The house itself, has a big, open living room with huge windows which gives an great view, just as you can see in the pictures. For a party of 6-8 people this was the perfect house. It has a nice fire place style heater to cuddle up around with your loved ones. The house is well equipped and we simply had a great time there. I want to mention the customer service extended by Peter, we were having so much fun here that we wanted to extend our stay for another day. I requested Peter and he took the effort to call the cleaners to reschedule and made other arrangements so that we could enjoy our vacation.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Year Purchased: 1970
About the owner: Our parents built this home when we were in high school (1970s). It has been a year-round family gathering place all these years. Now we own a home 2 doors down, and my brother has a cabin in Agate Bay also!
