  My boyfriend and I stayed at Pinetop Place this spring and we really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, had all the amenities we, and was very cozy. It snowed while we were staying here and we were thankful for the wonderful fireplace and the hot tub. We enjoyed siting by the fire or in the hot tub, drinking some hot tea, and watching the snow fall. We were visited some mornings by 3 or 4 deer who would spend quite a bit of time in the backyard. The location couldn't be better: walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants as well as close to urban hiking trails and just a short drive from the snow parks and Mt. Bachelor. I can imagine this would be a great spot in the summer months!

  This has quickly become my favorite place to stay in Bend! It is very clean and comfortable. There is so much to do nearby or stay in for a quiet, restful personal get-away. The owners are very hospitable, the nighttime view of the city and the stars is amazing! Enjoy the view from the hot tub! It is much more than a "hotel" experience, it is a home away from home! Come enjoy Bend, from Pine Top Place, it will soon be your favorite as well!

  Entering the Pine Top Place I was comfortable from the start. The owners are very friendly and helpful with suggesting places to visit there in Bend. The rental had what seemed like a fully equip kitchen, nice patio on the deck, great hot tub space over-looking the view, and comfortable living quarters. My fiance and I loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and outdoor activities. The Pine Top Place created the perfect oasis for my fiance and I to relax and come back to after a busy day of hiking, beer tasting, and walking around the town.

  Very disappointed in our stay at this location. Renter beware that this is the basement of someone's home - not a rental cabin, lodge, or house as advertised. The actual living area was nicely kept but it was difficult to relax while hearing the dog running around and people walking above your head. The spa/hot tub advertised is outside the owners bedroom on their own private deck with extremely limited hours. Overall, a very poor experience. I prefer a vacation rental where the rules do not state for me to be conscientious of voice and television volume, and mind you we are a very quiet, low key couple to begin with. I would not recommend this rental property to any of my family or friends.

  Owner response: Clearly this was a poor/unfortunate "fit". Our VRBO listing clearly states this property is the lower level of our residence - a generous space with windows on three sides (not your typical basement). Because Pinetop Place is a level of our home, we are generally much more aware of renters than they are of us. During the this rental timeframe, I remember my husband playing with our puppy - and asking him to stop. We're so sorry that this occurred! Spa tub hours are until 10pm, on the upper deck with spectacular view of Bend.

  This space had a true cabin feel and was so warm, comforting and inviting. It is super well kept and I felt comfortable and at home the moment I walked in the door. Highlights include a fireplace and rooftop city views from the hot tub!

  What a quiet and peaceful stay we have had here! The perfect place to relax and take a break from life for a while. We especially enjoyed letting our dog out into the yard to explore and play with Jeff & Joy's dog, Paisley! Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

  Great time, Great setting, Great place. Thanks so much - Mario & Andrea P.S. The "Bend Overall" (book) gave us great ideas for trip fun. Cog Wild was a delightful 'terror'. The lakes and sun will bring us back.

  My wife and I had the best week up in Bend, OR, and we are convinced this will be a frequent vacation spot for us. Joy and Jeff opened their home to us and made the living situation extremely comfortable. The space felt like home with a huge backyard with views and big family room. We will be back soon!!!
