Our cozy cottage can accommodate up to six comfortably. The Overlook cottage is no more than ten feet from the water with picturesque views from each patio. Your stay is guaranteed to be a tranquil excursion. The Cottage is less than an hour from New York City by boat, car or public transportation.
The Riverfront Cottages pamper you with a feel of an Island Getaway. Our 60’ dock offers the best striped bass fishing around. Come by boat and we have slips availabe to accomodate you. Just steps away, rent a boat, or take a ride on a charter vessel, party boat, or classic wooden boat excursion. Located within walking distance to Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy Hook, a 7-mile long peninsula with over 1,600 acres of pristine beach and a spectacular holly forest where over 300 species of migratory shorebirds can be spotted. Spend the day sunbathing and swimming on the wide beaches or enjoy premier surf fishing. Horseshoe Cove on the bay side of Sandy Hook offers plenty of spots to anchor your boat and ideal conditions for kayaking, parasailing, windsurfing and Jet Skiing. The Riverfront Cottages are located under the national landmark, Historic Twin Light Lighthouse, Hartshorne Woods, Henry Hudson Bike Trail and many Zagat rated waterfront restaurants. Park your car or boat on our facility as all area attractions are walking distance and many a few steps away.

I grew up near the Jersey Shore but live in the Bay Area now, and I am so glad I found this place to stay when we visit family back in NJ! We will certainly return here, if it's available. The place was perfect for entertaining, family visits, small children, and getting to the beach quickly. This is a brand new 2-bedroom that has all the modern amenities you could want. It's 2 floors, and the ground floor has a great open kitchen and living area with bathroom. It opens to a deck that overlooks the river. The upstairs has 2 bedrooms (with views of New York!) and a bathroom. There is a great little sandy area for kids to play practically within earshot. And the beach is just a short drive over the bridge that you see from your patio. There are restaurants you can walk to. And the owner is incredibly hospitable, helpful, and flexible. I'm so glad we found this gem!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
