Beautiful, direct oceanfront condominium, fifth floor with balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Relax in the afternoon on the balcony.
The condominium has chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Cable TV in living room and master. Full kitchen with everything you could need. King-size bed in master, two twin beds in second bedroom, and a pull-out sofa.
Restaurants are close by, across the street to Manny's Pizza or walk down the beach 100 yards to Chase's Restaurant and Beach Bar. Two miles to shops in downtown New Smyrna Beach and lots of great restaurants. Grocery store half mile, 7-11 across street. One hour to Orlando/Disney area. 45 minutes to Kennedy Space Center. Cruise ships and gambling cruises half hour away. Many golf courses are nearby.

The owner was very easy to talk to and was available for questions. Aircondioning needed work. The view was awesome! We got to see dolphins (2 days). The place itself needs a bike rack for bikes to be locked up to on the property (if you have bike rental near its possible some may rent them, we did), not in the rooms or on the floors. Also, we expected WIFI (internet). (Disappointed) Nothing to connect to there. My son had a little work to tend to and was disappointed when we had NO internet connection. He had to travel to get his work done. I was also not happy with parking on the beach. We had stayed up the road a year ago, where this wasnt allowed and it made for a better beach experience. I know next time to ask if parking on the beach is allowed. Live and learn. Once again, the owner went above and beyond to help us with the airconditioning. I think its time to replace that unit. We had friends there and they had the same set up as us on the 3rd floor and never had a problem with cooling the room. One other "small" detail, "small" tv in main viewing area. (not that we watched much tv) The big tv was in our (main) bedroom and no tv in other bedroom. Would I return again to this unit? Doubtful. But it was a pleasure talking with the owner and I appreciated his concern. Maybe he has another unit up the road where theres no parking on the beach. That mistake wont happen again. The positive, the view , the water, the sun. We did relax and enjoyed the company of our friends who were also there with us sharing the experience. We had the pool to ourselves many days (must be slow time there) Pool needed a good cleaning and at times had a green look to it. Maybe that was due to the heat (weather). It was very hot there. It is an older place and a little updating could make it go along way.
