Stratheden has its own creek and features far-reaching district views over dairy country and comes with its own mini rainforest pocket and landscaped garden. Seven Mile Beach is just 15 minutes by car.
Hear the cows lowing as you go to sleep in this charming 4 bedroom country style house, featuring a large king master bedroom which has an under-floor heated en-suite bathroom with rain-head shower, walk in robe, and French doors opening onto the verandah.
The second bedroom has a comfy traditional queen size bed, the third has two single beds that can be joined as a king bed and the fourth has 2 single beds. There is a spacious main bathroom with bath and enormous shower as well as a separate guest powder room. All linen and bath towels provided. Sip brandy in front of the combustion wood-fireplace, catch a DVD on the 81cm LCD flatscreen TV, watch Austar satellite TV, dock your i-Pod into the surround sound stereo, or just relax in the large lounge room area. The house is equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning for instant heating or cooling.
If you need a quiet place or somewhere for the kids to play, there is a study overlooking the hills with built in desk and French doors to the verandah. Wireless broadband reception is excellent from anywhere in the house.
A land line (local) telephone is also available.
There is a traditional wrap-around covered verandah with many places to sit and soak in the country air as well as a large barbecue and outdoor seating for 8-10. It has a large, gorgeous, fully equipped country kitchen, with ceasarstone benches, European appliances including 90 cm electric oven and gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, rice-cooker, sandwich press, bread-maker and many other mod cons. Also provided is a Nespresso Coffee Machine and Milk Frother for a fresh Cappucino for breakfast.
Coles home shopping deliveries are now available for Stratheden for guest convenience so that you don't have to spend your precious time off at the supermarket.
The large solid timber dining table seats 8 people comfortably. A generous separate laundry has washing machine, drier and doorway onto the deck.

GUEST COMMENT MAY 2010: This property is absolutely beautifully appointed with every mod con you could imagine. The owners have left no detail unattended. From the neatly chopped wood stacked on the veranda for the slow combustion fire to the docking station for my iPod - no one could want for anything. We were a group of 8 staying at Stratheden and golfing at the nearby courses. The property is so convenient to everything yet so peaceful being set on 5 acres just outside Berry. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone who was looking for a peaceful holiday. We will be back!
