- Here, you will find a relaxing time at the confluence of two WORLD-CLASS TROUT RIVERS. Few rivers in North America have produced as many trout records as the North Fork and White River. The North Fork River produced what was once the largest brown trout caught anywhere in the world.....and that fish is still the second largest ever caught!...moreless

My wife and our two young children stayed 4 nights in this cabin on the beautiful White River. Each day we were treated with a un-matched view of the pristine White River. The cabin was very, very clean and super cozy. The cabin is stocked with most everything you could need, and if they don't have it the Two Rivers Grocery will! The access to the river is wonderful and gave our family tons of outdoor things to do. This cabin gives you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Home away from home!
Home away from home!
As a person who travels excessively for work I value being at home. Annie's for me is like being home. The cottage is so comfortable with beautiful views of the river. I especially love it at night when a full mom glistens off of the water. There is plenty of wildlife to watch as well. From the deer grazing in the field across the road, the hummingbirds looking through the picture window and the squirrels playing in the trees. The best part of the cottage for me was that king bed. I wish I could sleep that good at home. I have taken my grand sons there for the past 3 years to learn to fish. We caught our limit on every trip. It is now an annual trip at their request. It truly has become a home away from home!

My family arrived to an immaculate home in a prestine spot on the banks of the White River. The three of us enjoyed all the comforts of home while taking in the rustic splendor for which the Ozarks are known. It was truly a great experience, our hosts were most accomadating.

Annie's Cottage is a very well furnished and cared for cabin. We so enjoyed the deck in the back yard that over looked the river. Sue recommended our fishing guide Nick and we had an awesome time with him. We caught and kept enough trout to cook several meals while there. We cooked all our meals at the cabin The king bed was "dreamy"! We would recommend this cabin to others as we enjoyed our stay so much.

We had a great stay over the Memorial weekend. This home and location was perfect for our family and the views and access to the White river were amazing. We will be back later this year!

Wonderful anniversary getaway
Wonderful anniversary getaway
My husband and I spent 4 days here during our anniversary and it was wonderful. The house was very nice and comfortable. It sits right on the river and is so quiet and peaceful. The view was great. I would highly recommend this house to everyone. Peter and Sue, the managers, were very friendly and accomodating. They recommended a fishing guide from the Rose Trout Dock named Nick Kopcha. He was great!! Very patient and fun to be around. We loved our day out with him. Our stay here was just what the doctor ordered!

We have had a wonderful week! Great local food. Wildflower trail and antiquing in nearby Cotter and seeing the beautifully restored bridge there. Annie's Cottage should be called 'a Piece of Heaven'! Sitting on the deck and watching the birds and river is the ultimate relaxation for which we would pass up most any other activity. We can't wait to get back! That pileated woodpecker is a sight to see. SS & PB Reprinted from Annie's friend's guestbook

Well appointed, charming cottage with water access and beautiful view. Family of 5 stayed here with teenage boys. Enjoyed birdwatching and the lovely sunset while grilling and dining on the back deck. Favorite activities were fishing, skipping rocks on the river, water skiing on the lake, hiking in the Ozark National Forest, and touring Blanchard Springs Caverns. Boat rental and bait shop nearby. Will stay here again.
