We describe the vacation rental house located on West 10th Street, Saint George Island (SGI) as off the beaten path but close to the water because it is located on an interior lot one lot north of the primary East/West road that runs the length of the SGI. It is only 2.5 short blocks from the Gulf Front and 1long block from a Bay Front park. The house, built on pilings, has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 10), 2 bathrooms, central open living/dining room and kitchen. The house has 1624 square feet (SF) of heated and cooled living space, 224 SF covered screened porch off two of the bedrooms (one has a king bed and the other has two sets of bunk beds for children), 792 SF deck facing the street which the third bedroom (queen bed) opens on and the fourth bedroom (queen bed) opens onto a smaller 112 SF back deck. There is also a 10 by 28 foot boat or motorhome storage area under the house with about an 11 foot clearance. There is ample off street parking for four or more vehicles.

About the owner: Cliff has visited the area since his early childhood, first visiting St. George Island shortly after the bridge opened in 1965. He and Denise had their first date on the coast and relocated to the area in 1977 buying a bay front home across the bridge in Eastpoint. Their two daughters grew up enjoying the Island and the surrounding area. Throughout their professional lives, both Denise and Cliff have been active in many aspects of community life in this bit of heaven nicknamed, 'The Forgotten Coast'. As Denise likes to say, 'It was never the Forgotten Coast to us, it's home!'
Why the Owner Chose Gulf Beaches: The opportunity and benefits of owning a vacation rental home on St George Island came together at the right time as we were starting a new phase of our lives. It gives us the opportunity to share what we have enjoyed for so many years with our children, grandchildren, extended family, friends and others we have yet to meet. We plan to use a share of the profits to support nonprofits such as Rotary, Wounded Warrior Project and related organizations.
