Toulouse Mongoose is a charming designer decorated beach house with Walter Anderson block prints and hand painted tiles throughout. The house features 4 bedrooms, each with its own TV. There are 1st and 2nd floor living areas also with TV. Toulouse Mongoose has a large well-organized kitchen, a seperate dining room, and a dedicated laundry room.

Ocean and beach views are prominent from the front porch and the master bedroom terrace. The large pool is heated and contains a waterfall.

  • Wow! What a place! This beach house stay was perfect for our family. My husband and I took our two young children (2 year old and 3.5 year old) there for a long spring weekend. The house was very accommodating for our family. With the large open living space on the main floor, big kitchen and bedrooms adjoining, we felt very comfortable in the home with our children. The pool's security fence eased our concerns while spending time outside. We enjoyed beautiful days and evenings at the beach and early mornings in the heated pool. Watching the sunset over the dunes from the front porch was an added bonus. The location is great to many area attractions and the access to the beach is easy. We highly recommend staying in this home.

  • What an experience it was staying at Touloose Mongoose! The house is spacious with large comfortable and CLEAN rooms. The decor is simple but elegant. The view of the ocean from the balcony of the master bedroom is an experience!!! We unwound each day at the pool deck and enjoyed a splash in the warm cozy pool. A perfect getaway from the hussle and bustle of everyday life. The pristine beach and white sands were more than therapeutic, especially for our 81-year-old dad. We will definitely go back to Touloose Mongoose, hopefully in 09 summer!

  • I stayed at Toulouse Mongoose for a week, and loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and it is located in an area in which there are many options for activities. I hope to stay there again, as soon as I can arrange another trip to the Destin area.

  • This is my third stay at the Touloose Mongoose and I really love it. It is a very quick walk to the beach and to the Red Bar which has great food and night life. The house is large and comfortable. The big front porch and pool area are both great for socializing. The kitchen works well for several people to collaborate on a meal. I enjoyed the small balcony off the upstairs master as a quiet spot to read in privacy. Having been to a lot of beaches in the world, this one is definitely one of the best.

  • I have had the fortune to spend two weeks at the Mongoose. The first week was the perfect family getaway. The house is very kid friendly, the pool is perfect and the sunset is remarkable. My wife wont stop talking about our next trip down. Oh yeah- the shopping and restaurants were a big hit with her and her sisters! My second trip down was with a group of friends from school. The Mongoose is a great home base for all the fishing and golf you can get your arm around. Overall- great location and property. The pictures do not do it justice!

  • Having booked Touloose Mongoose beach house for my family's main overseas summer holiday this year I must admit initially there were doubts as I had never before booked any holidays over the internet. When we finally arrived at the property after our long flight we were not disappointed. The beach house far exceeded our expectations it was large and spacious, with full air conditioning plus a large covered front porch lined with rocking chairs. It had a real summer feel to it with very comfortable accommodation for my wife and our three children who really enjoyed the heated pool and the white sandy beach with it's clear blue waters within a three minute walk from the house. It was indeed a home from home with every comfort you could wish for. The holiday passed all too quickly and upon our return home we brought with us many happy memories of a very happy holiday in what I can only describe as a dream location, so much so that we plan to return in 2009.

  • We have stayed at the Touloose Mongoose beach house for the last two summers. It has been our yearly family vacation, we like it so much that we plan on returning next year. The house is designer decorated and feels like a Caribbean getaway. There are plenty of rooms to accommodate all my family members including my two young children. The house has always been clean on our arrival. The only things we take are beach towels. The pool is lovely and warm with a tropical feel, it has gates on which is good for the children. The beach is only a few steps away (if you walk out the back door you can quickly get to the beach walk). The best thing is sitting on the deck and watching the sun set over the Grayton Dunes, We can't wait to go back again. Thank you for having such a warm, wonderful home for us to enjoy!

  • We enjoyed our stay at the "Mongoose" which is wonderfully decorated and made everyone feel very comfortable. We loved using the heated pool each day after our visit to the beach which is steps from the house. We can't wait to come back this Fall! Thank you!

  • An instant unwind in this well appointed, sunny and spacious home! We thoroughly enjoyed a romantic picnic on the beach at sunset and fishing on the beach at sunrise! Immediately felt like our home away from home!
