  We arrived at the condo and walked into a beautiful,eloquent and VERY spacious home. Everything that you would need is there for you and Rita was wonderful to work with...the views are spectacular and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and relax! We can not wait to return again next year.This is by far the best place on the island that we have ever stayed at...this place gets an A plus,plus,plus in every way!

  Everything was excellent and top of the line. The owner was wonderful to deal with...this was the best place we have ever stayed on the island. Beautiful inside, gorgeous views and very eloquent. We would highly recommend this to anyone.

  Beautifully decorated condo with fabulous oceanfront view. Very comfortable beds and pillows - fully furnished with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Master bedroom is gorgeous with wet bar for your wine/drinks upstairs and bath with ocean view. Rooms are much larger than they appear in the pictures with a very open floor plan. End unit, very quiet, with abundant windows all around. View of trees and marsh from kitchen window is just as beautiful as the ocean view. Balcony is the perfect place for morning coffee and evening conversations. From the first contact with Rita until the end of my vacation this VRBO process was easy and worry free. Cannot say enough about this condo unit – have traveled and stayed in many beautiful places but this one was exceptional. You will not be disappointed about anything with this property - it will take your breath away the moment you walk in the door. I look forward to my return visit to 1877 Turtle Dunes. Thanks Rita!

  This was my first time using VRBO to book a vacation for my family and it was such a wonderful experience. From my initial contact with Rita it was a breeze. And the pictures on the site do not come close to capturing the beauty of the Penthouse. The attention to detail with the interior design was top notch. The kitchen had everything we needed and the views were nothing short of spectacular from every room. The other nice advantage was being in the corner of the building on the top floor. It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool area was great and provided daily fresh towel service. The location made it easy to get to all the major highways and the local town. I want to thank Rita for opening her amazing place to my family. We had such a great time! My children are already talking about coming back. The Ritz has nothing on this place!!!!!! A+++++++++++++

  This penthouse was unbelievably beautiful. The views from every room were incredible, and the unit was decorated so well! We absolutely loved our vacation in this penthouse, and we look forward to returning next summer! Thank you for sharing your luxurious penthouse with our family.

  Rita, We had a great time and were very impressed with the unit! Forgot to tell you that the dryer didn't seem to be working the first day. I think there might be a blockage or hole in the vent tubing cause I shook it a bit and the dryer started working better. No other issues though! We've been to Amelia two years in a row now and will certainly consider 1877 Turtle Dunes again for next year!

  We have stayed here several times and have always found it just as described and more. It is beautifully decorated with all the conveniences of home. The ocean and marsh views are spectacular. We so enjoy the balcony most anytime of day, but our favorite is morning coffee. The island has much to offer also. This is definetly a do over destination.
