It has been tastefully painted in warm relaxing colors, carefully furnished & set up for your enjoyment. It has a large back yard & a huge covered back deck where you can relax with a drink while the little ones play on the Rainbow play system or in the sandbox. Sit by the back fire pit & have roasted weenies and marshmallows. Enjoy the gas grill, full outdoor living room and picnic table for outdoor summer meals with your loved ones. We are close to Sea-Tac Airport, Boeing, Valley Medical Center, Kent Valley Industrial business area, & 30 to 40 minutes from Microsoft & Nintendo on the Eastside. We are ideally located off Hwy 167, close to hwy 18 and near I-5 about 30 minutes from both Seattle,Tacoma & Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Seattle & Tacoma host many museums, theaters, tours, zoos, and other activities for families, couples & singles. We are close to Tiger Mountain Summit, & about 30 minutes from Snoqualmie Summit skiing. There are many other attractions in this area such as hiking, fishing, river rafting, Wild Animal Nature Park, & many other outings. We are also near Snoqualmie and Muckleshoot Casinos. We are within 15 minutes drive of Gene Coulon Park beach on Lake Washington in Renton, & about 20 minutes to Salt Water State Park and Dash Point in Federal Way & Sea Hurst Park Beach in Burien on the Sound. Also within 20 minutes is Wild Waves Waterpark and Enchanted Village in Federal Way. We are about 2 hours from Mount Rainier National Park, & about 3 hours drive to Ocean Shores Beaches.
We are located close to the bus line (4 blocks away) which will take you to Kent Station. From there it is very easy to get to both Seattle and Tacoma on either Light Rail, Sounder Train, or via bus. Kent Station also sports an AMC movie theater, several shops and restaurants, and Show Ware Center which hosts many events & the local hockey team. The Ferries from Seattle can take you over to the Olympic peninsula where there are many enjoyable excursions. The Ferries can also take you up to Vancouver or Victoria BC Canada in about 3 hours.
The home living room has comfortable seating and an entertainment center which has a stock of board games & several DVDs for children (additional movies are available through Red Box which is available about 1 mile), sleeper sofa, and comfy seating. The Family room has comfortable relaxing seating and sleeper sofa also, & a fireplace & ceiling fan for both winter or summer temperatures. Both rooms have televisions with DVD players. The home is equipped with internet Wi-Fi access and Dish satellite TV programming which include free Blockbuster movie downloads (Pay per View Blockbuster movies will be charged as incidentals to the credit card on file for the rental)
The Kitchen is fully stocked with tableware, cookware, bake ware, spices, coffee pot, waffle iron, bread maker, steamer, rice cooker, and pots & pans to accommodate up to 18 people.
Upstairs has a Master bedroom with King Size custom design Iron 4 poster bed that has a 15' deep mattress and is very comfortable. A Sunny window seat provides a nice space to sit and read or look out over the front yard to the lake and listen to the many birds. Master bedroom also has a walk out upper deck with slider where you can sit and enjoy a morning cup or light snack and relax as well. There is also a TV with DVD player available for your enjoyment. Master bedroom also has its own 5 piece bathroom with a extra long deep jetted spa tub and a separate shower for relaxing romantic baths or a quick cleanup, whichever you prefer.
Bedroom 2 has a Queen Size bed with a Custom Oak bed with memory foam mattress topper, which is very comfortable and relaxing. Bedroom 3 has a full bed with memory foam mattress topper also. Bedroom 4 is a convertible bedroom which can be set up either as a King size bed or matching twin beds. There is also a twin pull out trundle in this room. Bedroom 5 is a bunk bed room with 2 sets of bunks and a pull out trundle also. This is a perfect room for children, and sleeps 5. This room has whimsical painted walls and a nice window seat to sit and read or play games on. All 5 bedrooms have a complete closet for storing clothing.
There is also a portable crib (in the King/Twin combo room) and a play & pack (under the master bed) and a highchair available for your use.
Upstairs has a hall bath, that has a tub with shower. Both the hall bath and the master bath have skylights to bring in the natural lighting. The house has lots of windows throughout to take advantage of the natural lighting.
Our home is set back from the street on a quite family oriented cul-de-sac with a long driveway that can park about 8 vehicles. The neighborhood is very quite, and is located near and with view of the lake. You can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at the bistro table or rattan chairs on our large front porch, or in the reclining lounge chairs on the upper deck off the master bedroom, and listen to the geese fly over at the lake. We also have resident woodpeckers that nest in the trees at the edge of our property.
There are several restaurants within 1 mile of the house, some of the choices are, Chinese, Teriyaki, Vietnamese, Indian, pizza, burgers, and chicken wings. There is a Safeway & Albertsons grocery stores with Starbucks and Red box (for movie rental), a pub & pool hall, a pharmacy, bank, and an Indian grocery store all within 1 mile.
Full housekeeping is provided between each guest stay. All bedding is washed and sanitized between guests. Housekeeping during your stay is available for an additional fee. Catering is available from Paolo's Italian and El Charro Mexican Restaurants.

We were so fortunate to find this home to stay in the weekend of our son's wedding. It was roomy enough for our family and very comfortable, not to mention close to the church! A wonderful alternative to hotel rooms. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished and the kitchen well-equipped. It's not often we stay in vacation rentals where the beds are as comfortable as ours at home. We're sorry not to have had the time or weather to enjoy the lovely patio. We would reccomend this home to anyone. It had everything a luxury hotel could offer and room to spread out for a family! We had a pefect experience. Although during our overseas assignments with Boeing we had stayed in good hotels, Residence Inn type places and corporate housing this was so much better. Each of our adult children visited and stayed in private rooms. There were places for every person to relax and mingle as they wished. We put on our family gathering for my Dad's 89th birthday. Beautifully equipped kitchen and supplies to spare made it a joy! This is a great home for a gathering. Provision is made for children and lots of extras were provided. The owners were very flexible and easy to deal with. Amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean, closets emptied, sparkling kitchen, room for all our stuff in every room. Hardly any personal things were left out to be careful of but a few books, toys, games etc. made the kids happy.. Fresh flowers, seasonal decor etc. made us feel pampered! There was even wood for the fireplace and pinecones too. I would gladly rent here again and refer my friends. Outstanding!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Working with the owners of this home was a pleasure. Our company needed a place for 3 of our developers from India to stay for a month. The travelers really enjoyed the home. It was clean, very large and very comfortable. Theresa went out of her way to make them feel comfortable. She even explained how to use the washer and dryer. She checked in with them periodically throughout the 4 weeks. They experienced their very first Halloween during their trip and Theresa made sure they understood they could open the door and hand candy to the trick-o-treaters. They thought it was a great American thing to do! I really appreciated Theresa's help while they were here and would work with her again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Our Annual all guys get-together was great. We really enjoyed the house, it was awesome. It was a great place to hang out with friends and make sandwiches. The deck was great for hanging out. The house was centrally located to our activities in Seattle and Tacoma. The owners were very helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10 this house is a 10. The couches/sleeper sofas were excellent. We would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

9 golf buddies in Kent for a Golf Getaway. The house was a Great Spot! We would give it a 10. Easy relaxing on the back deck, plenty of space for sleeping and Relaxing. Our Team stayed here when we had a tournament at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila. We found this house to be very comfortable, with relaxing furniture. It was very convenient to Tukwila, the airport, shopping and Starbucks. We loved hanging out after our games on the deck and having BBQ. And there were several restaurants in the area to choose from if we wanted to dine out. We also enjoyed watching movies which we picked up from RedBox at the Shopping area which was only about 1 mile from the house. There was plenty of room for our team of 15. The yard and area have great nature views, and the sunrise from the front porch with our morning coffee was just the way to start the day. The kitchen was completely stocked and had everything we needed. The owners are very attentive and the place was very clean and well maintained! It is located on a quiet corner in a nice neighborhood and we were able to get some quality sleep before the next days games. The beds were great and there was plenty of room for all of us. This is much better than wasting money on a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

This home was just as described; large, comfortable, and well maintained. Our team and guests enjoyed relaxing and hanging out between tournament games, and resting up after a long hard day of play. The beds were very comfortable. The girls all enjoyed playing games, watching videos, hanging out and relaxing in the bunk room, living room and family room. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. The back deck was very spacious and was the perfect BBQ get-together spot for the team and families. This beautiful home made our trip to Seattle even more enjoyable. All you need to pack is your clothes and a camera. The home is fully equiped with all you need. We had 9 people in our party and had plenty plus room for everyone. The kids loved exploring the back yard. The neighbors were friendly and quiet all the noise came from our kids:) Our only regret was we were so busy we didn't get to enjoy the home as much as we would have liked to. We stayed here with extended family for our daughter's graduation weekend and the property was just perfect! It is a large home with room to spread out and relax. The weekend was cooler then expected so we ended up using the fireplace and found it a great gathering place. The home was spotless, with new linens and everything needed. It is as described and I would stay again if we ever come back into the area. They have a local contact for any problems, though we only had a few minor questions that were easily answered. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and found this one excellent!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

With the many colleges close to our home, it is a great place for families to come in for graduations. The weather in the Seattle area tends to be cooler and rainy for a great part of the year. About the owner: We are a semi-retired couple with a 9 year old son, and 2 grown married children with several grandkids. We love traveling, reading, photography, and excellent food. We enjoy comfortable surroundings, and have set up our home to reflect this. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
Why the Owner Chose Kent:
We chose this home for its close proximity to services, yet it has great privacy! This has been our family home since 1990. We have enjoyed the quite neighborhood, with all the birds, and geese sounds which make it very relaxing. We love hosting family parties for special holidays here and have had as many as 40 guests for Christmas. The Back Deck is one of our favorite places to hang out and relax. We really love attending events at Showare Center in Downtown Kent, and hanging out at Kent Station where there are many free music concerts on summer evenings, as well as several great restaurants. We love being within under an hour to so many fun activities and outings. The options range from state parks, such as Salt Water, Flaming Geyser, Sea Hurst and others. We love going to the Aquarium, Children's Museum, Pacific Science Center, Space Needle and the Childrens Theater in Seattle. We also Love Broadway Bound Children's Theater, which hosts several quality productions throughout the year in Seattle. In Tacoma, we love the WA State Historical Museum and the Museum of Glass. Boeing Airport also has a great Museum of Flight. There are so many things to do here! The Soos Creek Trail and Park are located about 10 blocks away on 208th St. and have a wonderful hiking trail and nature reserve where you can exercise and enjoy nature walks. Panther Lake has a public access that is on the backside about 3 blocks from our house. There is fishing there, and you can hang out by the lake. We often enjoy sitting on our window seat and looking out at the geese flying in to land on the lake. We are close enough to Sea Tac airport to be convenient, but far enough from the noise of the flight path.
