* Continually updating our units: 2012 Granite bathroom vanities, Flat Screen TV in the living room. Carpet and tile was updated in 2010.
* Phillip's Paradise I unit 2019 (#86742) and Phillips Paradise II unit 2020(#40445) are one bedroom, second floor units side by side and can be rented together or separate. The balcony can be opened if one should rent both units.
* Enjoy morning coffee, beautiful sunsets and views of the Destin Harbor from our expanded covered balcony.
*Phillips Paradise II unit 2020(40445) is a fully furnished, 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with queen bed and queen sofa bed that sleeps 4. The guest bedroom has TV/VCR/DVD player. Stereo and CD player combo is located in the living room.
* Beachside covered pavilion with restrooms and a bit more than a snack bar. Enjoy a Rick’s Burger or Grouper Sandwich or cold drink from Rick’s Sandtrap.
* Enjoy Fine Dining from Louisiana Lagniappe, an onsite restaurant
Washer and dryers are at the end of the building on the first level.
At Sandpiper Resort, you can enjoy sunning or swimming on 1,100 ft of sugar white beach with chair/umbrella rentals available, volleyball, restrooms and a covered food pavilion. You may drive to the beachside parking lot or take a 7 minute walk to the beach.
FREE Sandpiper amenities include 24 hr. security service, large covered picnic pavilion, 9 hole par 3 golf course, canal dock, boat ramp, 5 pools, 3 hot tubs, BBQ grills at pools & beachside, 3 lighted tennis courts and shuffle board. We had a really great time staying in your condo for our family vacation this year! Unlike the previous review, we thought the unit had many updates. The carpet is plush, clean and nice to walk on. The furniture is very nice and we slept well in the bed. The deck overlooking the harbor is huge, which got even bigger after we got to know the people you rented in Phillips Paradise II and opened the gate. What a view for the 4th of July fireworks! Other than walking to the beach, my family spent the majority of our time at the condo. There is also a pool right around the corner from the unit next to the 9th green that my husband and 6 year old enjoyed spending time together doing things they both liked. This is unit is budget friendly and an overall comfortable place to stay! Thanks for letting us enjoy your piece of paradise!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

This condo was disappointing. Our family felt it should have been updated. The pictures do not show many of the features that disappointed us. The mattress in the bedroom was very uncomfortable. The springs would stick into your back when sleeping. The bathroom had full carpeting. Even up the side of the tub. It was very dirty and we hated walking on it. The whole place was in need of updating. The furniture was very worn out. We love Destin and go there every year. The condo had a nice view of the harbor, and that is really the only good thing I can say about this condo. We have stayed at Sandpiper before and this place was a disappointment.Owner response: I would encourage you to remember there are two sides to every story. I believe the above review was posted because it was discovered that the renters had a dog in the unit and the security deposit was withheld. We have a no pet policy for our units. It is not that we don’t love pets but my Mother has Asthma. I ask each renter to call upon check in to make sure everything is okay. If I don’t hear from the renter, then I will call the day after check in. I also called the day before check out to make sure all was okay. As this was policy, the calls’ were made and no complaints were given. Our units are unique as they offer a great Harbor View and extended covered deck. You can tell from the photos that the unit is in good condition. I would encourage anyone to stay in one of our units and have a great vacation. Sandpiper offers something for everyone: Tennis, Shuffle Board, Boating, Golf, the beach, Ricks Sand Trap beach snack bar and more.
