Three of us including my brother and wife stayed four nights at this property. We were very pleased. It's comfortable, well located and well maintained. The owner - Jim - is highly responsive to inquiries as well as follow up. Pueblo is a great place to visit - El Pueblo Museum, C F and I Museum, fascinating points south including site of the Ludlow Massacre - and Jim's place is perfect home away from home with well equipped kitchen, restful bedrooms and relaxing deck overlooking the back yard. We'll return next time we're in the region.

Owner response: Frank, I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay on the property and look forward to you staying with us again. I am always trying to have upgrades done to the property to make it more comfortable. Thanks again, Jim
My wife and I recently stayed here for a family visit and were very pleased overall with the place. It was clean, conveniently located, and easy to find. The owner was communicative and friendly and let us check in earlier than what was stated in the contract...which was pretty key in having a tired 15 month old! Upon arrival, my wife and I were greeted with a little welcome note, a jar of Pueblo salsa, and a small tin of halloween candy. These are nice little touches that are always appreciated. Located in a nice older working-class neighborhood, the place is pretty much as advertised. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs with comfortable beds and there is a downstairs living room area that can be used as a bedroom. The two upstairs rooms have newer nice-looking bed linens and small flat screen TVs. The only odd thing about the master bathroom is that there is no toilet in it...only a sink and a shower. This isn't any big deal though, as there is a full bathroom right down the hall. The backyard is small but nice, with an entry to it located in the master bedroom. There's a deck to hang out and a grill. We'd definitely stay here again. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because it coudl be SPECTACULAR with a few updates on the inside. It's a really cool little mid-century modern styled house the outside, and coming inside there are still some of the remnants of that, which would be fine if it weren't so contrasted by the updates that have been done to date. Two things stuck out to me (and to be clear, they did not take away from my/our enjoyment of the place). One is the kitchen. The cabinets and drawers are in need of either an update or refinishing. And the oven and the dishwasher look as if they are the originals to the house. The counters could also stand to be replaced. The other was the floor. While they are wood, they squeak very badly. Not a big deal if you're the only ones there, but anyone staying in the bedroom down the hall or downstairs can and will hear it. Again, neither of those things were deal breakers; it's just the difference between a good place to stay and a spectacular place to stay. I'd be happy to stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking.

Owner response: Andrew, thanks for staying with us and the review. It is always helpful to have the input of guests to help improve the property. Currently I am going to have the windows replaced throughout the house. After that I am looking into getting the kitchen updated. I will also ask a professional about the wood floors. Thanks again Jim
Great place for our girls' weekend away.
Great place for our girls' weekend away.
This was our first VRBO experience and it was a very positive one. The house is more beautiful than the pictures indicate. We had plenty of room and the place immediately felt like home. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of linens. The enclosed backyard was nice to sit in and read a good book. Jim, the owner, was attentive to our needs and the business transaction went through effortlessly. The neighborhood was quiet and close to lots of good eating and shopping if interested. This is so much better than being in a hotel. We will be back again! Thank you, Jim, for such a nice experience.

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay!
We had 5 people stay at this house for 2 weeks for a work situation in Pueblo. The house is nicer in person then the pictures show. It was great to have access to comfy beds, cable in all rooms and Wi-Fi for work! Its nicely updated and in a safe neighborhood. It’s very close to grocery stores, gas stations and quick to jump on I-25… extremely convenient! Jim the owner is very nice and very available for communication and easy to get along with. We will definitely stay here again! It’s so much nicer than a hotel situation - having a full kitchen makes it great for eating like you are used to at home. We've used VRBO before and this house was very nice, and stocked well with nice paper products etc. - much nicer than we've been accustomed to at any other VBRO property. All the bathrooms had great linens and the house was VERY clean and in great shape. I highly recommend if you have an extended stay in Pueblo that you check out this house! I'm so glad we did!!!

My family and I were more than satisfied with our stay. The owner Jim was very accommodating, fair and honest. The house is nicely presented inside and out. Hardwood floors, saltillo tile, comfy beds, and overall decent interior design. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, with easy access to downtown, the mall, grocery stores, and more. We will be recommending this house to our friends and family, and we plan on giving Jim a call the next time we come to Pueblo for a visit.

Great Pueblo Property

What a breath of fresh air. I was pleasantly surprised in the home. I was traveling on business and had my dog with me. I thought it might be a good idea to rent a home rather than a hotel. I'm happy I made this decision. The fenced back yard was perfect for him. The home was very spacious, comfortable and clean! I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy place to stay while in Pueblo. By the way, the bed in the spare bedroom is amazing!

We are 7 nursing students here for a clinical rotation. If you are looking for a vacation rental in Pueblo, look no further. We are so impressed with this house that I couldn't wait till I got home to write my review. This place has recently been updated, everything is very new and nice. Beds are great, you could easily sleep 8 here. Hard wood floors, saltillo tile, beautiful skylight over the shower (which has GREAT pressure). No complaints at all, just a wonderful experience!

Vacation in Pueblo
Vacation in Pueblo
Just left our vacation home in Pueblo. Had a great time at a great place. We went to Pueblo for the NCAA division II track and field championships. Also spent three days vacationing in the area. This house made a great home base for all of it. We slept as many as 8 in the house with no problems. The rooms were nice with TVs in each. The house was well maintained and had everything you needed. The owner was great. We had a small problem with a shower and he came and fixed it right away. It was so much nicer being here than in a motel for a week. I would recommend this place for anyone spending some time in Pueblo
