  My girlfriend and I have spent two wonderful weekends in the Little Yellow House's garden view apartment with our Corgi. We live outside the City and love to come into town for weekends and Bob & Lee's place is perfect - and I mean perfect. Having lived in this neighborhood for many years, it is like coming home. The atmosphere is warm, the hosts are incredibly welcoming, and of course it is the City. For those of us who love San Francisco, the Little Yellow House is simply a wonderful place to stay in a wonderful City.

  Thanks Lee and Bob, sorry that we didn't get to thank you in person, but hope your vacation worked out well. We loved the apartment and it was very convenient with all three of our children. We spent the two weeks enjoying SF and our family. Public transportaion worked out well and the bus worked out great for attending church on Sundays. Of course we love Noe Valley and enjoyed an occasional brunch and some lunchs at some of the great restaurants available. By the way, we reccomend Eric's Chinese restaurant down the way on Church St. Thanks again for your hospitaliy and the truffles! Linda and Ron

  The Little Yellow House was the reward for all the hours of searching that I did to find the perfect accommodation in the perfect location. And it was. Every VRBO and every area in San Francisco sounded so perfect but this was the best as far as I am concerned. Although the Noe Valley is a good 30 to 40 minutes by transit to the major attractions, the neighbourhood and all it has to offer makes up for that. It was a 15 minute uphill walk from the airport BART, and other transportation was only a block away from the apartment. The apartment was impeccably clean and looks exactly like the pictures. (many places do not as pictures can be deceiving) The chilled bottle of wine was a welcoming touch. There are so many wonderful restaurants, little bistros, funky stores and coffee shops all within walking distance. Whole Foods is just a block away. The Saturday farmers market was an unexpected bonus. I would recommend that our hosts install a motion light over the front door as it was practically impossible to see the pass code on the door in the dark. Also, more tourist information such as menus for restaurants in the area and SF attractions would have been helpful. All in all, great accommodation, great neighbourhood, great hosts. Not suitable for wheelchairs.

  Large, bright accommodations with generous supplies (milk, juice, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, pots, pans, dishes, etc. and welcome bottle of wine). Absolutely clean. Great porch with views of SF and sunrise. Quiet and secure with coded entries instead of fumbling with keys. Hall and stairs lighted by motion sensors. We expect to stay again if its available when we visit next.

  What a great time we had in SF, thank largely to the fantastic accomodations provided by Lee, Bob and Molly in the Noe Valley! The suite was everything they promised and more -- clean, comfortable, convenient, sure, but no one noted that the bed would be one of the most comfortable ever tried, and that the Muni train was steps away (and yet, you couldn't hear it from inside). Lee was a fantastic host, helpful without hovering, and Noe was such a fun neighborhood to explore after we walked much of the city. Go, stay, and have a blast!

  What can I/we say? We LOVE The Little Yellow House----for so many reasons. The accomodations are wonderful, the location superb, the love and care from Bob, Lee, and Molly---warms our hearts. We come back----again and again---- On a scale from 1-10, we give it an "11" :-)

  We loved our stay in the Garden View Apartment at the Little Yellow House. Our hosts: Lee, Bob and Molly provided everything we could have asked for - and more. The apartment is spotless, beautifully decorated and maintained with lots of high quality extras (beautiful robes, the welcome bottle of wine, juice and milk in the fridge, hairdryer, etc.) It's wonderfully convenient to the Church Street trolley (takes you to the Ferry Building - don't miss the ferry trip to Sausalito) and the great restaurants on 24th street including Basso's (our favorite place to have brunch and watch the Patriots play on Sundays). It's also a 5 minute walk to Whole Foods, which, while pricey, has a great selection to choose from, including wine and beer. It's also convenient to the terrific Noe Valley Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and our well-equipped kitchen made it possible for me to do some cooking for our son and daughter-in-law who lived two short blocks away. The wi-fi worked perfectly, and the two TVs had a huge variety of channels. The views from the deck (which had a nice grill and good seating) were lovely - both of the garden and of the city. The washer and dryer are certainly the nicest I've ever used, and, while shared, were always available when I needed them, and all the supplies were provided. Lee and Bob were outstanding hosts, very friendly and completely accommodating, When we were forced to leave a day early to beat "Sandy" home, Lee even printed out our boarding passes for us. And then there's Molly! We miss you, Molly, and hope that you are completely recuperated! We'll be watching for that book we think you should write, and we certainly will stay at the Little Yellow House every time we go to San Francisco.

  My husband and I stayed at the Garden View Apartment in the Little Yellow House for one week while we were in San Francisco visiting our son. We were impressed with the safe neighbourhood, central location with ease of access to public transit and also the secure entrance to the building and apartment. When we entered, there was a decided "wow" factor as we surveyed this spacious, modern, and very clean apartment with a fantastic city view. The welcome gift of a bottle wine in the fridge, along with fixings for breakfast and a well equipped kitchen, meant instant relaxation after our flight. An appreciated bonus was the barbeque on the deck where we were able to prepare a meal or two without going out. The spacious bedroom with 2 walk-in closets and plenty of storage space was more than adequate, but the best feature of all was the extremely comfortable bed. Our host was readily accessible to help us with the operation of the TV and was an invaluable resource on places to visit, eat and giving us directions to our destinations. We would definitely stay at the Little Yellow House on our next visit.

  We had a great time at the little yellow house. The place was exactly like the pictures if not better. Extremely clean, great little deck with a view and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The neighborhood had plenty to offer and the MUNI picked up just down the street. It's about a 20 minute ride by MUNI to get downtown but we loved the location regardless. We will totally come back the next time we visit.

  I thought the owners did a great job at making the place feel warm and inviting. It was relaxing. The garden view was fabulous and we enjoyed eating breakfast there every morning.

Cancellation policy:

PAYMENT POLICY: Bookings require payment in full in order to reserve your suite for the inclusive dates. Payments made using a MasterCard, Visa or e-check are required. Paper checks and cash is not accepted. CLEANING FEE: A $65 non-refundable cleaning fee is required for all stays and must be paid at the time of booking. SECURITY DEPOSIT vs. INSURANCE PREMIUM: For stays up to one month, a refundable $500 security deposit is required. This is normally accomplished by placing a temporary hold on your credit card for that amount. After your checkout, the deposit is released back to your credit card, less any damages that you are responsible for. For stays of one month or longer, a non-refundable insurance fee is required in lieu of a security deposit and will be added to your bill. CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations are handled in accordance with the booking agency you have selected. CHECKING IN & OUT: Once payment is confirmed, we will email you the property address and your unique combination to unlock the street door and your apartment door. Your unique combination expires after your check out date and time. Check-in is no earlier than three o’clock PM and check-out is no later than eleven AM. Extensions for length of stay may only be granted on a space available basis. REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY: Only those guests who have properly registered through the booking agency (VRBO or AirBandB) are allowed to stay overnight at the “Little Yellow House.” One additional unregistered guest is limited to one overnight stay. QUIET HOURS: Between the hours of ten o’clock PM and eight o’clock AM, noise must be kept to a normal conversational level. Your neighbors not only live and sleep on either side of your apartment, but also above and below your apartment. Although we have gone to extra lengths to sound insulate the apartment, nothing is full proof. Your conscientious courtesy will be greatly appreciated by your neighbors. PETS: Although your quiet/friendly cat or dog (under 60 pounds) is welcomed at the “Little Yellow House”, we must insist that incessantly noisy, ill-behaved or intimidating pets be left at home. Also, you will be held financially responsible for any damage (such as chewing/clawing marks) caused by your pet during your stay. GARDEN/BACKYARD: The garden/backyard is off-limits to guests, although your pet may use it to relieve itself via doggy-doors. The door that leads to the garden/backyard is for emergency use only and an alarm will sound when it is opened. SMOKING: The “Little Yellow House” is a happy, smoke-free house to ensure a safe and healthy living environment. Smoking is not permitted inside the building. But, if you do wish to smoke, you may step out to on to your private deck to do so. An ashtray is available for your use. OTHER NOTES… SECURITY: Our neighborhood is considered one of the safest in San Francisco. To further enhance your security we have installed electronic combination locks on the self-closing doors that lead into the building and into your apartment. An intercom allows you speak to someone who is at the street door of the building and a remote electric door release allows you to “buzz them in.” A “peep hole” is also installed in your apartment door and the street door, allowing you an additional screening method. FIRE PROCEDURES: Your safety is our paramount concern. Your apartment has an ABC fire extinguisher in the kitchen, garage and laundry room. Familiarity with its use is critical for the safety of everyone. In the unlikely event that you encounter a fire and you cannot easily contain a fire using the extinguisher, you must egress the building immediately. All exits are clearly marked. Some emergency escape doors are alarmed, but in a serious fire, you should use any means available to escape. Once you are safely away from the fire, call 911 and report the fire, then call your hosts, as there may be other occupants still in the building. Remember: never use water on a grease fire and never return to a burning building until the fire marshal give the OK. The risk of fire in San Francisco is why the “Little Yellow House” does not allow candle burning/smoking inside the building. If you desire a romantic candle lit ambience, flameless electric candles are stored in the kitchen cabinet for your use.
