  19 of us gathered for 4 days at this beautiful home just outside Ouray CO. Plenty of sleeping space, plenty of quiet space. For a large family gathering this is ideal in that the common areas are large enough that no one feels cramped or underfoot. We had card games and dominoes, and a 3 year old's toys, and a giant jig saw puzzle all going at the same time. The kitchen facility was great as well with plenty of dishes, silverware and glassware, and lovely appliances. We brought some extra large serving dishes and pots since we were cooking for so many--it all worked out great. Location is quiet, and an easy take off spot for hiking, biking, and a quick drive to the hot springs. Everyone was super happy. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home!

• Great ski vacation

  We had a great time at the Cutler Creek property. The house handled our 12 person ski party with ease. The house is large, recently totally redone and is very appealing. The house is nicely decorated, very comfortable and has great views in several directions. There is plenty of room outside on the extensive decks for a variety of leisure activities. Wildlife is common in the area. During our trip elk and deer were seen very near the property. The central location, near Ouray, gave us easy access to the skiing at Telluride but also for Silverton Mountain and Durango. Its location will work just as well for the southwestern Colorado summer activities including golf, biking, hiking, jeeping and fishing. We are planning on returning to take advantage of those summer activities.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

  Our stay here with family was perfect. The setting is great with big trees, mountain views, wildlife and a very peaceful location close to both Ouray and Ridgway which was convenient for the hot springs, outdoor activities, and restaurants. The house has a large deck with places to sit and a barbeque grill, fire pit. There are huge windows and is very comfortable, clean and recently remodeled with very nice amenities. This is an amazing place to stay!

  We enjoyed our stay at this large home. It was a beautiful home with lots of space and a beautiful yard. Kitchen was great with lots of dishes, cooking pans and utensils; it also has a separate ice machine which was wonderful. The house was spotless, bathrooms were beautiful, nice fireplaces, a pool table and everything was like new. The house has a huge deck with lovely views, barbeque grill, outside seating, and a fire pit. The location was so convenient, close to the hot springs, restaurants (Kate's place in Ridgway is delicious), shopping. Just a great place to stay!

  What a treat!!! Cutler Creek is a beautiful, cozy, clean and special place to stay. The house has been completely redone and was beautifully designed. The house is in a great location..... You can go to Ouray for a scrap cookie (Mouse’s Chocolate Company) and sit in the wonderful hot springs, take a drive into Ridgway and eat at Kate’s Place or drive a little bit to get to the gorgeous Telluride! There are so many fun and beautiful things to do. If you don't feel like leaving the home there is also plenty to do... You can play pool, sit outside, play games, great chatting couch or go for a walk. If you want a perfect trip to Colorado this is the place for you!! It is a charming place to stay with a great location!

  A group of church ladies and I used this home for a weekend Ladies Retreat. It was humorous to hear the ladies exclaiming as they arrived and toured the home. "Oooh... aahh" was heard repeatedly :) The home is huge... so much space to just relax and enjoy the beautiful views. It is decorated beautifully. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we experienced was the internet not working. We hope to use this house many times again in the future!

  My family and our friends had a great holiday vacation at this amazing house. There is tons of room and beautiful views in every direction. The guest house is great for additional visitors who are not around for the whole vist and it also makes for a great sepiration for age appropriate activities. We'll definifely be contacting Jen and Mike again for renting.

  The house is nestled in a quiet area, and surrounded by beauty, out "away from it all" and yet only a few miles from the quaint town of Ouray. The interior of the house is stunning and spacious; beautiful decor, comfortable beds, extremely clean, plumbing and top-notch appliances in perfect working order. It was so nice to be able to seat a huge party at the same dinner table for each meal for togetherness. When quiet time was wanted, it was easy to find a spot alone in the big house or out on the deck that wraps around almost the entire house The owners of the property were friendly, and quick to answer any and all of our questions. Everything went smoothly, including receiving our deposit back as promised in a timely manner. If you are not familiar with the area, Ouray (and surrounding) boasts of amazing hiking and jeeping trails, ranging from novice to pro. For families with small children, right in town there is a small hike to the falls (which you can see from the town, cascading down the red mountain) and another that you absolutely can't miss, Box Canyon Falls. Not that you'll get tired of the woodsy green mountain and stream hikes, but for a change of pace, you can drive to Black Canyon and be mesmerized by the tall "painted" canyon walls. There are nearby mine tours, picnic areas, ghost towns...loads to do. If you have an opportunity to stay at this property, do it. We are already planning for our next stay there!

  Our extended family enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful home. We had 8 adults, two teenagers and one 18 month old and it was perfect for our needs. The dining room was huge so we were able to eat together every night, the family room could seat us all comfortably, and the house itself was a work of art. The views were incredible, and we even had deer roaming around the property all weekend. It was a quick trip to Ouray and the owners were a pleasure to work with. We hope to come back again soon!

  This spacious property has been remodeled with every detail in mind. All the fixtures, furniture and appliances are top quality. Every aspect of this house has been decorated with taste and style. Our large group had plenty of room. I appreciate how easily I could communicate with the owners about our stay; they are very accommodating and helpful. They made our family get-together very memorable.
