This truly unique log home in the beautiful Hahns Peak area offers everything you would want for a perfect “getaway from it all” vacation. The house sleeps 8-10 people in 4 large, bright bedrooms. For your comfort there are 3 bathrooms (2 on-suite) and a separate powder room. It is ideal for a family reunion, for 2 families vacationing with children, or a group of people just wanting to get together. 2 bedrooms are each equipped with 2 extra long twin beds, 1 bedroom with 2 fullsize beds and the master bedroom offers a comfortable kingsize bed. Bedlinens and towels are provided. The european style wintergarden offers, even on cool sunny days, an opportunity to relax in the sun. Plenty of storage space for ski equipment, wet clothes and summer fun paraphenalia is available. A spacious garage will keep your car snug in winter and cool in summer. For cooking at home after a day filled with activities, should it be summer or winter, a fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal. After dinner you can enjoy the evening in the wintergarden, in front of the fireplace or relax with the entertainment center. A large deck leads directly out from the lounge area overlooking the Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area and the Continental Divide.
Located 24 miles north of Steamboat Springs, between Steamboat Lake and Pearl Lake, this is one of the most beautiful areas in Colorado. The house is on a property of 11.5 acres with its own stream and pond, which ensures privacy but in no way isolation. Just over the hill is the Hahns Peak Village and Steamboat Lake Recreational Facilities, 8 minutes to the south you will find the Clark Country Store where all your amenities are available, and a further 20 minutes away is Steamboat Springs, the metropolis of the area with a population of approx. 9,000. The Steamboat area provides a wealth of recreational, entertainment and art pleasures all year round.
