Whether this is a "Once in a lifetime" trip or an annual event, we feel our home will be the accommodations answer to your Hawaiian vacation. After renting from others for 10 years, we purchased our own Hawaiian Condo. With over 1500 square feet of living area plus three lanais for your privacy and relaxation, our unit is perfectly situated on the 11th fairway of the Kona Country Club Golf Course. It is completely furnished with space enough to comfortably accommodate up to six people.
There are two spacious, comfortable bedrooms. The master with a king-size bed, large closet, TV and VCR, private bath with double sinks and a small lanai. The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king and a large lanai with table and chairs overlooking the mountains and pool. There is also a new queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room and a spacious bathroom with Koa wood cabinetry and tile counters and floors. The living room and both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans. With a view of the golf course, the main lanai has a wet bar, patio table and chairs and a chaise for relaxing.
In addition to providing all new linens and refurnishing the living room, we have supplied all the items we hope to find when we rent a vacation home including a fully equipped kitchen for casual dining or entertaining, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, beach towels, sand toys, pool rafts, games, and movies for fun days at the beach or quiet evenings in.
Without leaving the complex, you may enjoy any of the three swimming pools and spas (one for adults only), new outdoor BBQs, tennis courts, and clubhouse. There are free high speed internet connections in the unit and free Wi-Fi in the lobby and main pool area. Our unit also receives the Wi-Fi signal on the 2nd lanai.
Located in Keauhou, at the south end of Kona, in the oceanfront Kanaloa at Kona, Outrigger Resort, it enjoys the reputation of being the nicest resort complex in the Kona area. Kanaloa is situated on 18 acres of meticulously maintained, secure 24 hour gated complex just 14 miles south of the Kona airport. Kanaloa is surrounded by the ocean and the beautiful Kona Country Club Golf Course. Even better, it is off the often busy and noisy Alii Drive offering peace and quiet with beautiful views and ocean breezes! No high rise buildings, just low rise four unit or six unit tropical buildings.
Venturing out of Kanaloa you will find amazing sights on the Big Island. Within one mile is some of the best snorkeling on all of the islands. Just 20 minutes south is the City of Refuge where you can see a bit of what ancient Hawaii was like and swim and snorkel in water so clear you might think you are swimming in a fish bowl! The Big Island also has the largest privately owned cattle ranch in the United States as well as the still active volcano, Kilauea, an observatory on top of Mauna Kea, beautiful botanical gardens, incredible golf courses, deep sea fishing, and so much more.
Amenities: Three private lanais, two cable TVs, VCR, DVD player, stereo/CD player, washer and dryer in the unit, ceiling fans, phones, three shared swimming pools and spas, tennis courts, gas BBQ, linens, iron and ironing board, beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, side by side refrigerator with ice maker, drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, rice cooker, blender, and toaster. The unit is non smoking and no pets are allowed.
Rates vary depending on the season, length of stay and number of guests.
Children under 5 stay free.
In addition to the above rates, there is a Hawaii State Accommodations tax of 12.4%, a $250 fully refundable security deposit and a one time cleaning fee of $125.
A 25% deposit is due upon booking and the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Why the Owner Chose Keauhou
Even though we have been to all the islands and they each have something special to offer, we chose Hawaii Island (the Big Island) because it has sooo much to offer! We love to hike Kilauea when the lava is flowing; Hawaii Island has some of the best snorkeling in all of Hawaii; the best deep sea fishing is off the Big Island -- it has it all! We chose Kona because it is located centrally to all of the best of Hawaii! We chose our complex because it was the most well kept, traditional tropical, and quiet of all the complexes in Kona -- and you will never tire of the fabulous views.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We love that there are 3 choices of swimming pools -- one for adults only, one that sits at the ocean edge where you can hear the sound of the surf and one close enough to our unit that you can see it from the bedroom lanai. All of the units in the complex are corner units with lots of windows and so they seem like you are in a home, not a hotel. We love the location because within 1/2 mile is Kahalu'u Beach Park with great snorkeling from beginner to advanced and shopping (grocery, gift and drug stores), movie theaters and restaurants, yet the complex location is quiet and peaceful.
1/2 mile from the condo. Reef off shore allows easy entrance into water for snorkeling. Turtles often come in to shore to sleep and feed.
5 minutes south of the airport. An easy stop on the way to the condo from the airport.
1/4 mile from condo. KTA grocery store, Long's Drug Store, Movie Theaters, Post Office, gift and clothing stores. Restaurants - Subway, Kenichi Japanese, Mexican, Hawaiian BBQ Pizza, Burgers.
Many snorkel, dolphin and whale watching boats leave just 2 blocks from our complex.

We came to Hawaii for the first time in 1993 and fell in love with the islands. For years we came back as often as we could and rented from other people. On one of our trips, on a whim, we went to an open house and decided to make Hawaii at least a part time home. We feel we learned alot from renting from other people and have worked hard to provide our guests with all the ammenities we hope to find when we rent. We love sharing what we have been blessed with and hope you will come as strangers, but leave feeling like you have just spent time in a special friends' home.
