The two bedroom, two bath popular Award-Winning Turnberry corner loft unit has high ceilings and many windows to provide a light and bright villa. Updated living room furniture in 2013. Situated just minutes from the popular Palmetto Dunes beach, the villa has a great lagoon to golf view of the 10th and 18th holes on the George Fazio course. Newly added to the rental market in spring 2012. The kitchen and bathrooms have been totally renovated with granite counters, tile flooring, and new cabinets. The two-story floor plan provides privacy but with added convertible sofas in the loft and living area, this villa will sleep up to 6 people comfortably. TVs in both bedrooms and the living room with 47' LED TV, cable service, Blu-Ray DVD player. The loft unit has a TV/VCR combo. Washer, dryer, and a gas grill on the deck allow guests to relax with the comforts of home. Also includes high-speed wireless Internet service.
Turnberry is located within the Palmetto Dunes plantation which is a gated community situated mid-island. This villa was more than we expected. Villa is located in a very quiet small complex, we had daily visits from various wildlife including an alligator in the canal directly behind the villa, which we viewed from the deck. We loved the open floor plan, the décor is beautiful and very relaxing. We normally vacation as a group with family, however we have just found our single family vacation spot, it was perfect for us. May is simply glorious at the beach! I don't think we will ever come in the summer again! After vacationing in HH for many years this is our first time in Palmetto Dunes. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach, secluded yet close to everything. We could easily walk (15min) or bike (5min) to the beach. We used the North Gate access (not sure you can do this in the summer) near the Dune House , which is also a great spot for snacks, lunch or a cold beverage on the beach. Steve and Karen's townhouse is very spacious and really feels like a three bedroom. The beds were comfy and unit was spotless when we arrived. The large flat screen was great for movie night! Beautiful views from the deck... Check-in was simple and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Review #6027833 Outstanding Rental We rented this unit for 3 monthes starting Jan 3 2013. Perfect quiet location with distant golf course views BUT even better is a water lagoon right off the deck. Plenty of wildlife right off the deck--which provided my photographer wife with alligator, turtles and many birds - could not have been better. Pool and playground right across the street. The unit is fantastic - kitchen fully equiped, new living room furniture, confortable beds and a huge flat screen TV with all channels available. Easy walk or bike to great beach with miles of beach for walking or biking. Could not have been a better 3 months !! This unit will be our first choice when we return to Hilton Head.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

What a pleasant surprise entering this beautiful condo. It was very well decorated, comfortable and had plenty of room. The windows made it open and the natural light was the best way to wake up every morning along with our morning coffee on the deck watching nature at it's best!. Location was excellent...a brief walk or bike ride to the beach and all stores and restaurants were local. Plenty of room to entertain the family. We plan to return to this lovely vacation spot!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Island Oasis over spring break. The villa was very nicely updated and decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well supplied with all of the basics, and plenty of linens and towels were provided. It was well-located for us, with the playground and community pool just steps away (and you could keep an eye on your kids at the playground through the bedroom window). It was a short (about a mile) ride to the beach. Sitting out on the deck overlooking the pond was very peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We started coming to Hilton Head in 2009 and found Palmetto Dunes to be our perfect vacation spot. We enjoyed it so much, we purchased this amazing Turnberrry unit this year. Our children are so happy that we have a home away from home at the Turnberry Villas. We are looking forward to many years of fun and relaxation and want to share with others.
Why the Owner Chose Turnberry Villas:
Close enough to the beach to walk, bike ride, or drive, the Turnberry Villas offer beautiful surroundings and a quiet atmostphere when you want to just relax. It is a villa unit with only one side attached to another unit. A different experience than the multi-story condo experience. We like experiencing the wildlife, the views of the lagoon with water fountain, and semi golf views without being in harms way.

Quiet and peaceful when you are in the villa, while still having the pool and children's playground just steps away. Jog, bike ride, or simply walk around the complex or to the beach and general store. The wildlife is amazing. This is the perfect place to create beautiful memories.
