When we decided to rent a place, I was apprehensive about the men having fun, because it's usually the moms and the kids. Well, the house is great. Loads of character and yet and room for all. across the street from the water, great sitting on the front porch at night, great pool and really nice patio area with three patio sets so the the younger kids were at one, teens at another and us at the other. We went into town at night to hang out and the kids loved it. The location really is great. There are some neat places to get a drink and a bite to eat and you can walk they are around the corner. Music on the town green on Thursday nights, which was fun. Men had fun kayaking and fishing! Shopping outlets were nice. Not having to drive was the best. Our group is looking forward to coming back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our best rental experience in CT yet! Beautiful home that is very beachy. Large and still charming. Clean and comfy. Great for my family, spouse, teenagers, a preteen and 8 year old. Something for everyone! Great location. We will be back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
