We enjoyed this property very much, and it met our needs just fine. The photos of it were accurate, though we were surprised at how close it was to the neighboring properties. We also found that the open spaces--including open rafters among the rooms upstairs--made for more noise than we were expecting, and really a lack of privacy. Nicely equipped kitchen, and we made good use of the fireplace, too. We appreciated the generous supply of fire wood. The property was clean and well maintained, and the owner did respond to our queries. Overall, very good value for money, especially if you are accommodating a large group and want to eat in. Good proximity to Eureka Plumas State Park and Johnsville Ski Area, though we did not take advantage of these (state park closed in the winter).Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a lovely home, in an ideal setting. Great views, privacy, close to all the wonderful things to do in the area, golf, lakes basin, hiking, biking, etc. The owner is very accomodating and terrific to work with and the home has spacious rooms and is well appointed. Just the two of us and we rented the main house - so although there are plenty of sleeping quarters, we can only comment on the comfy master bedroom/bath, which we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed both decks. The large kitchen is terrific for those who love to cook, although we always pack our own kitchen essentials, just in case (sharp knife, specialty cookware, etc.) We live close, so it's easy to load up the car! It was exceptionally warm temps during our stay and the house stays wonderfully cool because of its design. HIGHLY recommend this home, and we plan on returning.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This house was a WONDERFUL surprise! It was even better than the pictures shown! There were 6 women in our party-just needing to get out of Reno for a bit. We settled in easily. This cozy house is big enough for eyeryone to have their own space and 3 bathrooms made it even better! Right on the golf course, 2 decks, large fireplace, beautiful kitchen!!!It was close to town wherre we shopped, dinned out. The only complaint we had was that it was a little dusty and there was no spatula and bad can opener. The average guest might not even notice, but we did alot of cooking. The owner was extremely nice to work with! We all found it to be a great escape-and were interested in the smaller loft; also avail. We would absolutely go again! Thanks Roger for opening your doors to us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: thank you very much for the kind review. I will take care of the shortcomings. glad you liked it hope to see you again soon. thanks for keeping the place so clean.
