We enjoyed our stay at Loon Call Cottage. This is a great centrally located home if you want to do things in BattleCreek, Kalamazoo and Holland. We had a whirlwind trip where we didn't have time to really enjoy all the things this home has to offer. We really enjoyed our stay there anyway and would recommend it highly. We came in late one night and Susan had everything set out for us to fix a meal we had picked up on the way in and she provided a crockpot for us to fix a roast to take with us for sandwiches another day when we were out sightseeing all day. We were able to spend most of one day at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo, the grandsons loved it. We spent most of our other day in Holland touring the Dutch Village and seeing some of the coast of Lake Michigan. We still had time to attend the functions at the Gathering of the Nations in Pine Creek that we had made the trip for in the first place. It would have been so nice to have had another day to enjoy the activities provided at the cottage, like the canoe, kayak, decks and grill, etc. It is also close to the 95 acre Gilmore Car Museum that we sure wished we could have worked in but couldn't. Maybe another time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.
