About the owner: Todd and Shannon Giles are the owners of the "River House" vacation rental. We live next door to the property,with our two kids, two dogs and two cats. This is a family that loves where we live and would like others to enjoy the beautiful setting on the Sacramento River. We enjoy gardening and entertaining in our spare time. We both work full time in the insurance industry in Redding. We both grew up in the area and have fallen in love with Shasta Lake, the Sacramento River and everything this small community has to offer. We welcome you to stay at the "River House".
Why the Owner Chose Redding:
We have lived in our house for over 10 years now. We have rented vacation rentals in the cottages on our property for 3 years. It has been a wonderful experience. The opportunity came 2 years ago to purchase the house next door. Todd and I love this stretch of the Sacramento River. We felt a larger house for families vacationing would be exciting. We also felt the need for an upscale home on the Sacramento River. Our friends and family encouraged us to complete this project and we are excited to finally offer this gem of a vacation destination.
