If you're looking to get away to recharge your batteries, this is the place to do it! Outstanding property, right on the beach. I don't think you could ever get tired of watching the surf roll in. This is a place to visit in the winter, summer, spring or fall... I guess you could say it's an all season playground! The little town of Rockaway Beach is something out of a novel. Don't let any of the almost run down looking building fool you... they house some of the best dining and shopping experiences you can find anywhere. There is lots to see and do if you so desire, but we found that after a long walk on the beach and maybe a little champagne and orange juice with breakfast, we were content to hold up for most of the days. My wife read 3 books in 4 days. I was able to catch up on some work and emails without the usual interruptions. The condo is newer and completely up to date and modern with everything you would need for a luxurious stay. The Oregon Coast is a must see and do and should be on every bucket list. This condo is a perfect place to base your travels out of! It is an eleven out of ten! Thank you to the owners and as Arnie would say... "We'll be back!"Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.

We just returned from our wonderful 14 days at this lovely piece of paradise. The pictures and comments were what made our decision to stay here. As soon we arrived we knew we had made a great choice. The view is amazing and the beach access was perfect literally accross one narrow street and your on the beach. The home is comfortable, immaculate and so well done the bright airy decor fits so well with the beach theme. The home was so clean and well appointed we felt right at home immediately and really all we needed was the food we were going to eat. Everything else was supplied from dishes to beach toys and chairs, games to dvd's to watch on the 2 large flat screens TV's. The days when we didn't want to cook there are several very good restaurents within walking distant such as the Upper Crust Pizza and Whale Spout both excellent food. The train ride into Garabaldi was also an afternoon well spent, the scenery and the nostalgic Steam engine ride was enjoyed by the entire group. We found it an easy ride to explore Seaside, Cannon Beach and Warrenton to the north and Tillamook, Pacific City and even as far as Lincoln City to the south. We will definitely be returning soon as this is now become a favorite location.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

We were very happy with our stay at rollaway beach! There is nothing we would change! Well stocked with kitchen, bathroom, and even beach assorted items. We would definitely consider renting this condo again in he future!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children.

We recently rented this delightful beachfront townhome in Rockaway Beach for an extended R&R weekend. We found the unit to be very tastefully decorated and extremely well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean from every level. The deck on the upper level has a huge BBQ (which unfortunately because of the poor weather we were unable to use). The unit had everything that the ad mentioned and a lot more. Unfortunately there was a continuous downpour for 2 of the 4 days that we were there. While that provided us the opportunity to enjoy everything that the unit offered, I’d suggest packing some of your favourite DVDs & board games just in case you have to spend more time indoors than you were planning for. The unit has 2 large screen TVs + 2 DVD players + 2 smaller sized TVs in each of the bedrooms. In addition to a very well stocked kitchen with excellent cutlery, dinner ware, glassware, blender, etc, the unit also had an ample supply of aluminum foil, paper plates, etc. Please note however that Rockaway Beach does not have any large super markets etc, so you’d be well advised to take groceries, etc with you prior to arriving there. We’d highly recommend this unit to family & friends should their journeys take them to the Oregon coast. Andrea (one of the owners) was very helpful and easy to deal with and was very responsive during the several e-mail exchanges we had prior to us heading to Oregon. While you are there make sure you go to the Old Oregon Smokehouse. They make one of the BEST chowders I have had + their crab cakes ($8 each uncooked) were absolutely delicious. The crab cakes do disappear very fast so do plan ahead if you are planning on bringing them back home and cooking them for dinner.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Twin Rocks View on map
After millions of years of erosion, the twin sea stacks of Twin Rocks were connected at one point to form a single structure. Prior to 1925, the Twin Rocks were called the "Profile Rocks" until they changed names due to a conflict with another set of profile rocks in the region. If you look closely, you can see a sea dragon, Indian, princess or Lochness monster.The pinnacle is 88' high and the hole is 35' across. You can actually fly a helicopter between the two formations. When viewed from above, the rocks are in affect a narrow wedge-shape perched on top of a rocky island.
