  What an amazing experience we had! Stayed there for Labor Day weekend and it could've not been any better. The pictures don't do the cabin any favors... it's so much better! I celebrated my wedding right off the cabin on the beach and it was fantastic. I will be staying here again and again and will recommend it very highly. The thing I liked the most is that we were away from all the hassle of Galveston's Seawall area but still close enough to drive there for dinner or something if needed... We didn't have to but did go to the Strand to visit the shops there. It was great!

  Had a FANTASTIC family vacation over July 4th week 2012 at 5 O’clock Somewhere. We brought our children, nephew, his girlfriend, grandma & dogs (7 people); which were worn out and slept the whole way home. Great house, great location, we set up a canopy right on the beach and I could look out the kitchen window and see my husband, kids and dogs playing in the surf while I prepared lunch. We were very impressed how close this house was to the beach; there was no road between the house and the beach as friends kept telling us there would be in Galveston. The only deterrent was the kelp that kept washing up on the beach front, but the parks department came by several times a day to remove some of it. The house was very well equipped with just about everything we needed. Although extra light bulbs would have been nice. Do I recommend this house? Yes. Would I rent this house again? Yes.

  Our 3 family groups (11 of us) met together for 5 days, 4 nights at this GREAT BEACH HOME, Everything is as presented and advertized....though I kind of doubt that 16 adults could sleep comfortably. The beach is right out the door with the water's edge very very close. We all LOVED it; made going to and from the ocean waves so easy. In fact, we had ideas to do lots of other things while in Galveston, but ended up just enjoying the sand and beach and each other. We all LOVED our time there.....and enjoyed several Margarita's-----it WAS 5'OClock Somewhere!! We will rent this home again. Sea Isle's pier was fun; we did not use the pool or restaurant but both looked quite nice. THANK YOU 5 'OCLOCK SOMEWHERE; the owners were great to deal with also. Sharon

  This was my third stay with a home rental and this home was the best and was on the beach. I have rented other that say on the beach but they were sort of close but not like this home. Its on the beach with sand right in front of you. The people to deal with are super nice and home and furniture were newer. I will stay again if I come to Galveston.
