The Casita is modern and very comfortable. Hot showers and air conditioning, if you need it, is a plus in Costa Rica. The kitchenette provided adequate facilities for simple meals. We felt secure and safe in this quiet area of Nosara and enjoyed the balmy breezes as we lounged on the balcony listening to the soothing sounds of the ocean. We could even see the surf conditions through the trees! The property manager and owner were both very helpful and accomodating to any of our requests or needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic GetawayDid you find this review helpful? The Casita is in a perfect location! It is just a quick walk to the beach and also close to the main road where there is surf shops, restaurants and markets. At the same time the Casita is isolated from other houses giving it a private area. It is very tranquil and surround by nature with an ocean view. There are also two bikes to cruise around, which is very nice and resourceful! The inside of the house is comfortable with all the amenities needed for cooking. I love this place, strongly recommend!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Own and operate the Richard Schmidt Surf School, Inc. based in Santa Cruz, CA since 1978. In the summers since 1990 we offer week long surf camps and in 2002 we started our programs in Costa Rica. We love sharing our passion of surfing to our clients.

This is a beautiful location, set on the edge of the development. The best part of this house is that is off the road=no dust. There are no other houses in front or on the left of the house. We enjoy ocean views and watching the wildlife from the upstairs balcony. It's very peaceful on this end of the beach.
