Villa Melissa is a charming villa on the west coast of Barbados which can be rented on a 3,4 or 5 bedroom basis. It is located in landscaped gardens with shallow pool but just a 2 min walk to the beach by private path. Its a classical house with all the modern conveniences with wifi throughout and a 40 inch flat in the main house. Bedrooms are air-conditioned and rentals come with the services of a cook and maid. The staff lay out beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach and provide a walkie talkie for additional supplies for the cooler as needed. The house is staffed and comes with a cook, maid and informal butler who love nothing better than looking after our guests and their children.There is satelite TV, wifi, ipod dock, cd and dvd player to keep everyone happy.
The cottage also has its own kitchen so this can come in handy when perhaps the party consists of more than one family or age groups booking together.
A local concierge is provided to help with all requests.

Guest comments at Villa Melissa, Barbados I wanted to send you a note letting you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the beautiful “Villa Melissa”. Let me start by stating what a marvelous man Victor is. Of course he is willing to cater to your needs but it’s truly his amazing spirit that makes you feel so comfortable. Patricia is truly a gem too..her warm smile is always there to greet you not to mention the delicious meals she prepared for us. Also Michele keeps the place spotless and was always asking if everything was ok. She even washed all our clothes the day we were leaving! It was our 3rd trip to the Island and our first to this villa which we hope to return to again. We really love Barbados and all the friendly people we met. We took a catamaran trip on “Elegance” and rented waverunners, waterskied, wakeboarded, shopped and visited the Cliffs and caves, etc. Thank you for providing us with the most excellent staff ever! About the owner: I divide my time between barbados and the Uk so constantly on top of the Villa. I also have a local business selling real estate and renting villa other than my own. So when you rent mine you also get all the services of our local holetown concierge included and a lot of great advice. Barbados is a special place and local knowledge like ours can make your holiday even better. Victor who is my laid back Butler and convivial host to all our guests has been with me for 15 years and one of the nciest guys you could wih to meet.
Why the Owner Chose Porters:
I used to work on the Island in the Hotel business and when I persued an opportunity in the Uk I decided to do short term rentals. This location is the best spot on the west coast in my opinion, as its on a private road that leads to the beach, its quiet and only other home owners and staff access it. I can be on the beach in 2 mins and walk north and south to great restaurants and hotels or swim or water ski or be picked up off the beach by boat for a sail.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
This is a great house for families or groups of friends as you can rent the house with 3 beds or add on the cottage for 4 or 5 beds giving veryone a little space. The cottage also has a kitchen. When booking you get 3 staff including Patsy our cook, Victor and Michelle who cleans up after you so you can do as much or as little as you like. Our beach service means you can spend the day on the beach and pop back for lunch or a snooze in the garden as you want. Victor will ensure that you are well looked after and mix rum cocktails and do all in his power to make sure you enjoy yourselves.
