  My husband and two children aged 12/14 stayed for one week and enjoyed every minute. The beach was perfect for tanning and the snorkeling off the dock was excellent. we made it out to the reef and it was amazing. My son wouldnt leave the water. Food stores, restaurants and entertainments are all a short drive away. we visited the turtle farm, the botanical gardens, the blue gecko exhibit as well as Rum point with a boat trip to swim with the sting rays , starfish point and a quick tour through the mangroves. The only stress was driving on the opposite side of the road but my husband quickly mastered that. The condo itself is immaculate and very home like. Thee kitchen was stocked with anything you may need to cook. The owner Ann, is wonderful. She answered all my questions right away and is quite personable. I would definitely stay here again

  We stayed 4 nights at Villas Pappagallo. If you want a peacefull, quiet get away, this is the place for you. We hardly ever saw or heard anyone else and the pool usually only had a handfull of other people at it. The condo is very pretty, clean, spacious and well decorated.The owners are friendly and accomodating and easy to work with. They had a local woman meet us at the condo and show us around. You can fish from the dock, or swim off of it. The only drawback is you will need a car. It's about a 15 - 20 minute drive from the heart of seven mile beach and Georgetown

  We had a very nice stay at this condo. The condo itself is just like the pictures- very clean, attractive and roomy! The condo provided everything my husband and I needed for our week stay. Ann was there to greet us when we arrived. She showed us around the place and answered any questions that we had. She was very welcoming! The complex is very pretty- kept up perfectly. The one thing that could have been better was the beach/water in front of the complex. It was not the clear bottom that you want to wade in. There was quite a bit of "stuff" on the beach itself- not so clean. However, since the area is very secluded, my husband and I liked to go and explore the other beaches along Seven Mile a few different days, so we had plenty of perfect white sand and clear water to wade in. This part of the island is very quiet, which is why we picked it. It is about a 7-8 minute drive to the resorts on Seven Mile. There is a restaurant directly across the street from the condo but other than that, not much else out there besides neighboring homes. The island of Grand Cayman is the perfect size and beautiful! If you want a relaxing, private vacation, I would recommend this condo.

  Owner response: I feel bad that the beach was in bad shape this particular week. There had been a storm and the waves were high, so the beach did not get the cleaning it needed. Our beach does get regular cleanings every week, weather permitting. It is also a great beach to snorkle at.

  We stayed almost one week at this condo, the place is really very nice. The house is very well equipped with everything you could need and more! The pool and beach are excellent and sunrise views from the guest room are amazing. The owner is very friendly and someone you can trust. Would definitely stay here again!

  We have been to this villa several times over the past 4 years and find it to be the perfect place to land our family, our stuff, and our lives while vacationing in GC. Dave and Ann are tremendous in their kindness and flexibility, by allowing us the luxury of tru family living. Their unit is outfitted with the most comfortable "island" furniture, which helps to truly feel the quintessential caribbean experience. We have scene units where the furniture is dark and heavy. Why leave home? The pictures are very tru to the unit. It is bright, clean, and airy. Every view from every window is of the caribbean sea. You just can't go wrong. What I especially like is that the pool view is right outside both the dining room balcony AND the upper bedroom so we can keep an eye on our kids while they swim if we have to run in for anything. The beach itself is about 20 steps from the door, so its not way back by the street. Having The Barkers adjacent to the property makes for a great exploring experience. Miles and miles of trails and sand await the stroller or walker.......one surprise for us just last year was catching glimpses of the kite flyers and windsurfers right down the beach! I guess there is a business of sorts there is now , which is way cool. Having Pampered Ponies down the way also allows for some fun visits from the horses as they take tourists down the beach daily. The kids LOVE this. Having Ristaurante Papagallo across the street is also a great luxury especially if we want to imbibe in some margaritas! No driving required! We've stayed at other accommodations all over the island, including Rum Point and Seven Mile. While both have theire perks, I have to emphatically say that the location of Villas Papagallos combined with the hospitality we receive from Dave and Ann, we could NEVER stay anywhere else.

  Our experience staying at the Villa Pappagallo was more than we could have asked for. The owner was outstanding and pleasant to work with. The condo was spotless, comfortable and had gorgeous views. The best part was that the beach in front of the condo was very secluded yet we were 5 minutes from 7 mile beach and all the activities. The island has the most beautiful water colors and everybody was very friendly. The best restuaraunt on the island is just across the street from the condo. We could walk the nature paths and horseback ride on the beach in front of the condo. Stingray City and swimming with the dolphins were the highlight of our vacation. The end of our vacation came to soon. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone. We will definetly be back and would not stay anywhere else. Everything that the owner said about her property was true. You can't go wrong if you choose to stay here.
