The apartment is located in via dei valeri in the monti district, 5-10 minutes on foot from the coliseum and the basilica of san giovanni in laterano, it is also a short walk from many other historical sites and churches, such us the church of s. Clemente, the caracalla baths, the church of san giovanni and paolo, the imperial forum. It is well-connected by public transport to the vatican.
Nearby there is the charming villa celimontana park which also hosts a prestigious jazz festival from mid june to the end of august.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. Serena and Mauritzio were so accomodating. The apartment is a nice walk to the Coliseum, from there you can ride the 110 red bus and hop on and off to see all attractions. A nice grocery store (SMA) is convenient as well. We cooked all our breakfasts and dinners here. The kitchen has everything you need. The city bus is right down the road as well. We would definitely recommend this apartment.
