Book your vacation in this new cottage located in the heart of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge--only minutes from Gulf Shores. The complex offers 2 Pools, Kiddie Pool, & Gazebo....and is only minutes from the sandy white beaches of the Gulf!
This three bedroom/ two bath unit offers plenty of room for your vacation. The large kitchen is stocked with all the cookware needed for lunch or dinner. The living room has a sleeper sofa, flat screen television, and DVD player. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, flat screen television with DVD, and private bath. The two guest bedrooms offer: Bedroom 2 has a King Bed with flat screen television & DVD; Bedroom 3 has a Queen Bed with flat screen television & DVD. Both guest bedrooms share a spacious bathroom.

We would highly recommend this beach house. Our family of five stayed for seven nights in March of 2013. It was impeccably clean, and well laid out. The House was perfect. We had plenty of room for 8 people. The kitchen was very nice and big. The pools we great also. I did enjoy being close to Fort Morgan. We did a lot of fishing and crabbing. Two thing I would ask is for a bigger BBQ grill ( It was a little small trying to cook food for 8 people) and to trim the bushes by the front door so you can turn the water on and off.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We came to Ft. Morgan for my niece's beach wedding, and then stayed to enjoy time with extended family. Our daughters & their hubbies and our new grandbaby joined us...plenty of room for six adults and a one-year old! Had a gorgeous, sunny hot week to enjoy the Rookery III pools (loved the waterfall & baby pool) and Gulf beach and even sailing our 14 footer on the Gulf & bay. We loved coming out of the heat back to this beautifully decorated cottage to relax and chill. Impressed with the well-equipped kitchen, comfy, roomy beds & size of bedrooms, choice of furnishings & design. Big plus- having all the parking space for three vehicles and boat/trailer. Everyone said how they loved the secluded, quiet feel of the Rookery III. Since it borders the wetlands there is one word of advice- bring plenty of bug spray for any outdoor activities, like grilling or playing croquet on lawn.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at the Rookery III. The house is decorated beautifully and we had plenty of room. The pools are nice and the beach is a short drive away. We really enjoyed ourselves! Thanks Chris for all of your help!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.
