We had a top notch vacation. There wasnt a cloud in the sky the whole week, except for one night where a thunderstorn came from off the Gulf, it was spectacular. Speaking of spectacular, Art and Karens condo was just that. Neat, clean, and both balconys were fantastic. Everything you would need is included. I would consider this a penthouse, just as advertised. There is even private parking for visitors. We spent hours on the front balcony just watching the water, the dolphins, and the sunsets. Madeira Beach is beautiful. It is private, and never got too crowded. Johns Pass is a nearby, outside shoping area. Be sure to get there at least once. Stores were great and the restaurants were out of this world. Dont leave your vacation until youve eaten at Buba Gumps. If anyone has the opportunity to take advantage of this rental, do yourself a favor and jump on it. It will be a vacation you will not soon forget.

Our late-December week was great! The condo was clean and supportive of a good life. The weather was spring like: warm in the day, cool at night, trees in full leaf, some flowers in bloom. I went in the ocean, gingerly, for very refreshing swims four times; however, I'm originally from New England, and I saw few other bathers. Be brave; it's worth it! The sunsets and the wildlife, including the tropical shore birds and the dolphins, were wonderful. We had very good food and service at local restaurants. We especially liked Gulf Bistro, J.D.'s, and Friendly Fisherman. After seeing the numerous manatees in the afternoon at the Tampa Electric power station, circle south and have a sunset happy-hour drink on the roof of The Hurricane in Pass-A-Grille. On the way home, check out the beautiful pink hotel, the Don CeSar. We relaxed, which is what you want from a vacation at the beach.

My husband and I share an anniversary month with my sister and her husband, and we have vacationed several times together to celebrate our anniversaries. Our week at the Trillium was so wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable. We especially loved having extended morning coffee time on the balcony and we saw dolphins every single day - one day even saw a lone manatee. The sunsets are amazing from your balcony! When we got home and developed our pictures, we laughed at how many sunset pictures we had. The weather was perfect except for one day of fog and drizzle, but was warm enough we walked the beach anyway - which we did every day! We loved the ability to cook our breakfasts and dinners and have lunch out as we made day trips up and down the coast. The condo is exactly as pictured and is very clean and well-maintained, and we had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the close proximity to Johns Pass with wonderful restaurants and many shops to wander through. We took advantage of an afternoon sail one day, but really we just enjoyed our time together as family and loved walking the beach and spending time on the balcony. We originally booked condo directly with owner, however, the rental agency was awesome to deal with....the free movies each day was a bonus! We will recommend this property to our friends & family. Thank you Art and Karen for sharing your Florida home with us!

We stayed here last year and decided to come back again over July 4th and were not disappointed! Love the condo, the views were amazing and even though our last day was a thunderstorm we could still watch the awesome waves and enjoy the condo comfortably. It was really nice that the owner called us to see how things were going during our stay. Will have to start planning our vacation for next year! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

We had a great time revisiting Madiera Beach where we have been vacationing off and on for 25 years. This was a clean spacious comfortable condo in a quiet building. All the wild life on the beach is so beautiful. There are so many great restaurants to choose from and fun having John's Pass boardwalk and shops within walking distance. We hope to visit again!
Owner response:We appreciate all our positive guest reviews concerning our beachfront vacation home at the Trillium. We always try to call our guests during their stay because it is very important to us that our guests feel at home and really enjoy their holiday. Karen and Art Ames

Condo is spacious & well equipped. King bed was extremely comfortable. Beach chairs & umbrellas readily available & abundant for all our family visitors. The dolphins every morning were the perfect start to a perfect day! I would definitely return to this lovely home with great views! Thanks for making our vacation a memorable one!

11/23-30/10 When your looking for a beautiful condo and a great location, THIS IS IT!!! Just steps to the sandy white beach, relaxing, reading a book, letting that sun dry you from a dip in the Gulf, it couldn't get much better. Everything you need is there for your use that you could possible need. Art and Karen are gracious enough to share this macificent place with you and make it more a personal instead of a commerical vacation. The sunsets were just stunning every night, one after another. We will definately stay here again!!!

Loved the condo, the views and the area! St. John's Pass is within walking distance but we drove down there (little kids with tired feet) and had some great meals. Definately try the Lighthouse Donuts up by the rental agency. Their donuts are AMAZING! Watching the dolphins in the morning and evenings was awesome! The condo was big enough for what we needed and the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) were comfortable. The view from the balcony I think was the best of all the condos. The owner, Dr. Ames, was helpful as was the rental agency. Definately try The Pirate Ship restaurant on John's Pass...the coconut shrimp was delicious and the fish taco the same! Will try to come back next year for sure!

This was our first time at the Madeira Beach and we loved it. The condo, the beach and the weather was beautiful. The unit was very clean and specious and the view was magnificent. Too bad that we only stayed for one week,..... next time we will be staying at least two weeks. We would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives. Jerry and Anna

Stayed here for a week in October 2009. Had a great time and the weather was beautiful. The view of the ocean from the unit's living room/balcony was absolutely awesome! We saw dolphins playing out front almost every day. The unit was comfortable and spacious and provided everything we needed. Thanks for a great vacation!

My wife and I and our two daughters had a wonderful time at this condo. The view of the gulf is perfect and out the front there is a nice view of the bay. The rooms are all nice and big. We had a great time and are already talking about when we can come back. This condo is well worth the price!

We had a fabulous time at the Trillium. The unit was everything advertised. Our parking spot was close to the entrance, and we found it easy to get onto Gulf Blvd. even at the busy dinner hour. The unit was extremely clean, a nice change from a rental we had last year. Views from the balcony were magnificiant. We watched the dolphins, the boats and the people. Having only 15 units made for a quiet building. Working with Plumlee Realty was a pleasure. They handled our arrival and departure in a professional manner. Maintainence issues that arose (soaked carpet after a rainstorm) were handled promptly. We hope to return to the same unit next year.
