This is a custom 1700 square foot home located in San Clemente's Trestles Community. It's within a mile of dining & shopping, and ideal for single-family vacations!
Bike to Trestles in 15 minutes! Bike or walk to the Calafia Beach in 10 minutes! Many great surf breaks are right here - you can be riding your first wave in less than 15 minutes from walking out the door! This wonderful home is situated less than 3 miles from all the boutique shops, wine bars and excellent restaurants on Avenida Del Mar - San Clemente's charming "downtown" area.
Central location for exploring Southern California by car. Located right in the middle of Los Angeles and San Diego (approx. 45 minutes either way). Disneyland, Lego Land, Sea World, and the San Diego Wild Animal Park are all within a short drive.
This is the ideal family vacation home! Dozens of games, dress-up clothes, toys, and outside play equipment, etc. High-speed wireless Internet, Apple TV, Netflix Streaming, two large wide-screen TV's, (one with cable TV and one with a Sony PS3 system).
On the roof there’s a deck with an ocean view to one side, and golf course view to the other. This deck is complete with a gas fireplace and lounge area. In the back yard there's a Jacuzzi for relaxing after the beach. In the garage we have soft learner surfboards, boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella, two beach cruisers, two mountain bikes, and one bike with a child's seat on the back. All of this for you to use on your vacation!
Beds: Sleeps 5 adults and 1baby comfortably in beds – 2 queens, 1twin, and 1crib. We also have an additional queen-sized, raised AeroBed air mattress (they are very comfortable!).
Beach trail: San Clemente completed building a great pedestrian beach trail just a few years ago. It runs all along the coast for about 2.2 miles and can be accessed just down the street from the house. This trail is great for running and riding bikes.
The house is around the corner from Camp Pendleton, and therefore you have access to miles of amazing mountain bike trails. It's also two houses away from San Clemente Municipal Golf Course!
So, come and stay...have fun...and enjoy the sun! We'll even do your grocery shopping for you, so all you have to do is show up and relax.

Our trip to this beach house was so fun! It had everything we could need or want in a VRBO. Lots of room inside, fully furnished, and they keep the house in great shape. We didn't use it, but they even had a crib and another kiddie bed - perfect for a young family! And the house would be perfect for entertaining. Our two favorite things were the jacuzzi and the upstairs deck! The deck was the perfect way to spend the afternoon relaxing and soaking up the sun and with the fire pit, we were able to hang out up there well into the evening. The house is located near I-5, which was great for when needed to get on the road and head to San Diego for the day. We also walked from the house down to the beach and then along the ocean trail to the San Clemente Pier for breakfast. There is so much to do around there (shopping, surfing, bike riding), we found it hard to do everything during our stay. We'll be back for sure!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Comfortable, bright, clean, well-maintained summer rental in family-friendly neighborhood. Five minutes to downtown San Clemente, less than a block from a golf course, one block from a kids park, and 10 minute walk (or shorter ride on the house bikes) on path to beach. Spacious and open with separate living room areas on each side of the kitchen/dining area. Jacuzzi out back. Beautiful sunsets over the Pacific Ocean from rooftop deck. Highly recommended, will return again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
