Cosy Apartment with Perfect Location in the City Heart
- Minimum stay:N/A

Cosy, warm apartment, very spacious and airy, not specifycally designed and furnished for vacation rentals, as the most of the Venice apartments are, as owners have been living here until few months ago.
Here you will find a lot of beautiful traditional wooden furnitures and not the usual 'fake venetian style'.
The relaxing living room, the dining room with the large table and a lot of light coming from the windows, the spacious bedrooms, will make your stay here a very pleasant experience.
Central air conditioning and heating will guarantee a very good rest and relax.
The small nice terrace is also an amazing plus, it will be a pleasure to have your lunches or breakfast here, a shady, fresh refuge from the summer heat.
In the apartment you will find one single bedroom, one bedroom with 2 separate beds, and a master bedroom with a large, comfortable king bed so that it can accomodate up to 5 people in full comfort.
The kitchen-diner is fully equipped, with fridge, freezer, stove, hoven, kettle, toaster etc.
The location is simply the most central, convenient and strategic you could find in Venice, you are just between Rialto bridge and San Marco square, but in a narrow, side street, we call it 'calle'..., just a bit hidden from the main tourist stream, so the place is really quiet and calm.
A number of shops is just outside the door: supermarkets, bakeries, greengrocers, 2 pharmacies and 4 banks are 200 meters far and the Rialto fish and vegetable market is 5 minutes walk.
The closest vaporetto stop is Rialto, you will arrive there in almost every case, both if you will arrive from the Marco Polo airport and from the train station or from cars and buses terminal, Piazzale Roma, we will be waiting for you there if requested, and anyway we will give you all the instructions to reach the apartment in the easiest way.
For food lovers...:
A large selection of good restaurants and trattorias is very close to your place: Do Forni, Splendid Suisse Hotel restaurant, Fiaschetteria Toscana, Alle Testiere, Harry's Bar, Met's, Da Remigio, Osteria Santa Marina, etc, etc, are all from 2 to 10 minutes walk, all very well regarded also by Venetians.
A spritz (white wine or prosecco, seltz and Bitter Campari aperitif) and a 'polpetta' (fried meat ball), a tramezzino or a 'cicheto' (appetizer) in the Rialto area in the late morning will get you, once and for all, inside the Venice mood.
We will be glad to suggest other options in the city heart.
Not to be missed in the area...:
- Querini Stampalia Foundation
- Piazza, Basilica e Campanile di San Marco
- Palazzo Ducale
- Museo Correr
- Chiesa di Santa Maria Formosa
- Chiesa dei SS. Giovanni e Paolo
- Teatro La Fenice
- Chiesa dei Greci

We were 4 ladies visiting Venice. The apartment was as described but directions were difficult to follow. There was some confusion on meeting up with our contact but that was soon remedied. The apartment was clean and ready for us to move right in. The weather was very cool during our stay and no heat. We called the owner and was told it was the law that we could not turn on the heat. This made out stay very uncomfortable. Location was very good for all activities.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear guest, thank you very much for your review. Unfortunately the problem with the heating is not a whim from us but a national regulation that you can easily verify everywhere in the Internet Moreover today, more than one week after your departure, I've not yet switched on my heating system at home, with 20 - 22°C outside temperature it would be a wastefullness. This is just to say that from our side there is no fault and we think that your attitude is definitely exaggerated, we are really disappointed for this. Kind regards

Very good accommodations centrally located between St. Mark's and Rialto Bridge. CLEAN apartment. Air conditioning was a big plus. Wireless internet worked fine. It is not luxurious, but it is a very nice place to stay. Ground floor entry to building seems more like a basement than an entry, but once one goes up a floor to the apartment, the living area is very nice, so don't be put off by the sparse entry. The owner arranged for someone to meet us at the apt. He met us when he said he would and he spoke English, which was helpful. The apartment is close to San Lio "street" which has a small COOP grocery so that we picked up pop, coffee, and inexpensive snacks. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others,Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

It was just my wife and I, so the apartment was quite spacious for us. We only used the master bedroom, but the bed was very comfortable. The apartment was very clean, well maintained, and furnished. The kitchen was very well equiped with everything you need. The shower had good water pressure and thanks to a tankless heater, unlimited hot water. The internet worked great. It is centrally located just a few minutes from the Rialto bridge and vaparetto stop and probably only ten minutes walk from San Marco square and yet away from the tourist hustle and bustle. There are good restaurants nearby that aren't as expensive because the aren't right in the middle of the tourist madness. There is a grocery store just a two or three minutes away. Laura is easily reached by phone or text with any questions or issues and very responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
