Our Bromley Village condominium is centrally located within the Village--adjacent to the slopes with easy ski on/ski off access as well as only a brief walk to the Clubhouse where you can find a fire in the fireplace in winter with a quiet reading spot or a pool to cool off in during the summer months. Upstairs in the Clubhouse is a fully-equipped fitness room.
Our cozy condo is family friendly and offers a fully-equipped kitchen for 'at home' convenience. Sliding glass doors open onto a private deck. We also offer free wireless access so that you don't have to leave the comfort of the condo to log on. One of the bedrooms has a TV that can be used for either watching DVD's or playing video games. Feel free to bring your Game Cube or Playstation to entertain your kids while the adults relax in the living room and listen to music or watch television.
Manchester is 8 miles down the mountain, and offers unique factory outlet shopping and many fine restaurants as well as the more mundane, but useful, grocery stores, Rite Aid pharmacy and ATM. Weston, VT is about 12 miles away and is home to the famous Vermont Country Store, where you can find many unusual items as well as some fabulous locally-produced cheeses and the kid favorite, penny candy.
Outdoor activities abound, with Hapgood Pond Recreational Area just 2.5 miles away with swimming and picnic areas as well as hiking trails. You can also hike to the top of Bromley from right outside the condo, and the Long Trail runs over the top of Bromley so you can keep walking! The Fire Tower at the top of Bromley provides a 5-state view and is spectacular--bring a camera!

About the owner: My husband and I live in Old Greenwich, CT. I am a banker and my husband is a college professor and SAT/ACT tutor. We have twin boys who are avid snowboarders and golfers. Currently seniors in high school, they have been coming to Vermont since they were 4 months old. Our favorite Vermont activities include skiing and snowboarding in the winter, hiking to the top of Bromley in the summer, as well as exploring the various spring, summer and fall events in the area.
Why the Owner Chose Peru:
Vermont has been my home away from home for over 45 years. My parents built a house in Manchester that my brother and I enjoyed from the time we were10 years old. Juggling vacation schedules with our two families got a little crazy, so my husband and I decided to buy this condo so that we could continue to enjoy our favorite state. The location is perfect. Our boys can grab their snowboards first thing in the morning and head to the mountain while my husband and I have a 2nd cup of coffee. There's no need to travel as a group (unless you want to!). And you can have lunch at home without incurring the cost of the cafeteria. In the summer, the pool is a 5 minute walk down the hill. And if you want to walk up instead of down, the hike up Bromley is an easy 30 minutes with a spectacular view.
