This is the third time we have rented on RLP and this unit was in the best location so far. It's near to all amenities and within walking distance to the 'River'. The unit was very comfortable and suited our need for 6 adults sharing. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and a very nice lady to deal with. As we're from England also it was easy to pay in £ sterling. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Rancho Mirage area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

About the owner: I grew up in Palm Springs and, although I live in the UK with my husband, I still have family and friends throughout the desert. We purchased the property in 2010 to use as a base when visiting my family and to get a bit of sun during the English winter. This property is a home to us, not just a rental. It is extremely important to us that you enjoy your time in the desert as much as we do. My sister looks after the property for us, so you will always have access to someone local in the event of an emergency.

Having researched over 200 properties throughout the desert area before buying, I can honestly say that Rancho Las Palmas boasts one of the best locations in the desert and our condo is perfectly situation within RLP.

For me, the ability to walk to so many restaurants and enjoy a drink with dinner and not have to worry about driving is priceless. With so many pools available within RLP, you will nearly always have the pool to yourself.
The location of this property within RLP is perfect - close to The River, the Clubhouse and the Hotel.
