  Brandon We (4 single adults) had a wonderful stay at Laurie's townhome on Duffy (5 nights in all). Everything was exactly as described and pictured. And there was plenty of room for all four of us. There was also everything you needed already furnished in the house...plenty of towels, plates, cups, coffee maker, gas range (that worked awesome), oven, clean sheets, etc. Krogers grocery is right around the corner. One night we even ended up at an art gallery party down across the street and purchased art! Definitely excitement around most corners. The only downfall is the neighborhood. It borders on a tougher area and at times we didn't feel comfortable with a FEW of the people that were walking around. Of course, it should be noted we actually experienced only one strange and uncomfortable interaction. Overall a GREAT experience and stay. Honestly I thought of giving it less stars because of this but it truly is an excellent value for Savannah. We would have no problem staying here again. And by the way....Laurie (property manager) is very responsive and easy to deal with. We had no problem getting in the house and nothing but positive things to say about the property condition.

  Me, my two children and one of their friends, stayed at Delight on Duffy when in town for GMEA All State Chorus. I'd made the decision to stay in a rental rather late, but Laurie was very timely in responding to my inquiries and providing information. The property is VERY clean and quite well maintained. The home is well stocked, so we had most of what we needed. Whatever was missing, we were able to find easily at the grocery store nearby. We used the kitchen mostly for breakfast and snacking, and ate out at several fantastic restaurants for lunch and dinner (B&D Burgers, Goosefeathers, Mrs. Wilkes, Papillote, Olde Pink House, Fire, Vinnie Van Go Go's, Sundae Cafe on Tybee, Leopolds!!!). The beds were super comfy. We all slept very well, even w/ the occasional local noise. Despite this being a townhome, we rarely even heard any noises from the adjacent properties. The home is very nicely decorated and felt like home. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to all my friends.

  home is very clean. Laurie was just amazing to deal with. there was not a negative to this home. except for the city noises we were not used to lol.

  We love our stay at Delight on Duffy! The house was very clean, cozy and had everything we need! The parking space at the back of the house almost didn't fit 2 cars, but it wasn't a big deal. And I think we couldn't figure out how to control the AC! it was too cold downstairs and too hot upstairs but this is not a complaint, just saying. The only thing that we did not love about the house was the neighborhood did not seem as safe as ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- we expected! -------------------- But I would stay here again as the property was so clean and close to everything. Thanks a lot Busy Bee!

Yup, we are the Victorian District so the spaces in back are in keeping with a traditionally-built neighborhood from the turn of the century (probably hard to fit large suburbans or mini vans, etc.). I'll have our handyman, Michael, come check out the thermostat - thanks for the heads up. There are 7 vacation rentals on our block and our neighborhood is changing to become as vibrant as downtown.....its part of the charm as well as the value you get from staying at such an adorable place.   I stayed for three nights with my family and we loved our stay. The townhome was beautiful decorated, had everything we needed and was close to everything. I absolutely recommend this property and will not be staying in a hotel again. :)

  Thanks! We enjoyed ourselves while there. We spent most of our days/night out and about around town (walking everywhere and did one bike tour) and ventured over to the coast on Sunday with a rental car (went to a light house, cemetery, and lunch). The house was beautiful. I apologize that the dishwasher was not started like requested on the checkout info, but I couldn't figure out how to get it started. The only complaint we all had were the beds and pillows were uncomfortable. (We used the two main bedrooms – I slept in one of the twin beds.) But other than that, it was great. Very pretty and clean! Thank you for sharing this rental with us!

  The place was super cute and clean! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the neighborhood did not seem as safe as I had hoped. One guy (either homeless or drunk) actually asked us for money. The place was a short cab ride to River Street and all of the shopping. We walked to River street (about a 1.5 miles?.?) and enjoyed looking at all of the historic homes. We parked on the street on Sat night and got $15 tickets. We could have moved our car but were not thinking about it. I would stay here again as the property was so clean and nice. Thank you Busy Bee for making our girls trip a success!

  Delight on Duffy is a beautiful home. It was absolutely spotless and had everything imaginable to make use feel welcome and comfortable. My 83 yr old mother, my husband and I, and our 2 teenage daughters all loved the house! Beautiful antique floors, 12 or 14 foot ceilings, and a beautiful newel post and railing on the staircase made us all feel like we had stepped back in time. The only thing that we did not love about the house was the neighborhood. It is being revitalized. There were several homes like 'Delight' which had been lovingly restored and many more that had not been. A block away, none of the homes had been restored. At least twice (in our 3 day stay) drunk men staggered by the front of the house, talking or singing to themselves. Two out of 3 nights loud music from a car stereo disturbed the quite for 10 - 15 min. I wish that I could have giving the house 5 stars because it is obvious that they have done everything in their power to make it a wonder home to rent. Unfortunately, they cannot completely control their neighbors. :-(

Savannah is an urban city and Delight is part of the revitalization of the Victorian District and surrounded by many SCAD buildings, small local restaurants, and businesses. Its definitely a funky little enclave and a mix of young and old in the community. Our location is close to many of the Savannah attractions like the Farmer's Market at Forsyth Park (one block). I do agree that if someone doesn't want a city experience then they should go to a beach or gated community. I would be happy to recommend homes more suited to that direction in our Busy Bee inventory for you next time. All the best! Laurie d.

  Loved the Eugenia Kerr House - location was perfect, bed was super comfy, everything was clean and we really enjoyed the records on one rainy morning! Only very minor things to improve and only as you're asking - there were no filters for the regular coffee - only the decaf. And we couldn't find the location using google maps or our GPS - they kept taking us to the other (east?) lane? Could be operator error :) and we eventually worked it out by driving around the block a few times. Thanks so much - I'll be recommending it to anyone who's interested!

Rates are subject to change until time of booking is complete. We do require longer stays over some holidays such as St. Patrick's Day, New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.

Bookings within 28 days of check in are to be paid in full.

Bookings taken online outside of 28 days are asked to pay 50% at time of booking. Bookings taken over phone outside of 28 days are asked to pay $300 deposit at time of booking.

Busy Bee does offer travel insurance so please ask.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

13% State, County, and City taxes on top of rate.

$29 CSA Damage Insurance

No deposit required

This rate covers 5 guests.

For each extra guest (up to 7) we will charge $10/ person to clean extra linens.

$50 pet fee
