(If your dates are taken, please check my new condo at vrbo.com/474224 or email me.)Both condos are very similar and designed to make you feel as though you were at at home. We assume you have 5 or 6 people who want to sit comfortably in living room, so you'll find two comfy sofas, padded dining chairs, plenty of outdoor chairs, etc. Many condos have one sofa, one chair, a small dorm size refrigerator, a view from outside on balcony only, etc.--but our condos have plenty of seating, 18 towels with towel exchange, if requested, loaded with tolietries, kitchen items, and two deluxe futons with 8' spring mattresses), a dining set, full size refrigerator, etc. This place just feels like you are home because the everything is there already. I've been told many times we have the best views and location on the property.
Guests also comment as to how clean and well stocked the condo is, and all the extras you will find that you didn't expect. It has an incredible view for you to enjoy inside the condo--and it has largest size balcony as it is corner unit. You can be anywhere inside (except bathroom), and enjoy the fantastic ocean view. It's a front unit so it's quick to walk outside onto beach and Seawall too. Courtyard right outside your door and has a large balcony overlooking the pool. For what it is, the Victorian is a great place to stay for a trip to Galveston. Two nice pools, ocean views, nice balconies. I have stayed at several condos at this property and this one may have been my favorite. There were several thoughful amenities that made this my top pick. There were a ton of bath towels (a plus when several folks are sharing the condo), the owner had soap and shampoo in the shower, salt and pepper on the stove. Coffee maker filters and coffee along with sugar. The two couches in the living area were both convertible and provided two more comfortable sleeping places for us. She had a small cooler and beach toys available for use, even plenty of blankets and pillows. All in all, very happy with our stay and our interaction with the owner!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Very well-maintained small condo with beach view. Very clean. Great balcony. Cathy is very responsive to your needs and questions. The condo comes with lots of extras - beach toys, towels, etc. And the condo has 2 nice pools - one heated, which was great since we went early in the season. Short walk (half a block) to beach area, although during low tide, a strip of beach is right across the street. Would definitely book again.Did you find this review helpful? This was a great choice for my husband and I for our vacation! We had everything we needed - and then some! The view was excellent from all areas of the condo and there was plenty of space we could have had more people stay with us if needed! We were within walking distance to several places - but the parking for our car was great too! Everyone was very friendly and we felt safe while we stayed! The owners were helpful - and right there if we needed anything! We enjoyed Galveston and the surrounding areas a lot and would recommend friends and family to check it out!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This place was exactly as described. No stone was left unturned when it came to iminities. There were plenty of towels, sleeping space aqnd plenty of room. The bed linens were good quality and everything was top notch. The view was awesome and the pools were close by. The hot tubs were great. we cought and cleaned fish at the cleaning station there. We cooked out on the grills. It was great. Plent of moviews and games and the owners even notified us of a mani pedi sell at the Walmart that can easily be accessed from the back of the condo parking lot. WoW is all we can say. If we travel again with out our puppies we will deffinatley choose this condo.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

The stay at the condo was amazing. We say it is one of the best vacations we have ever had. The condo had everything we could of asked for. The views from the balcony were great and the location was even better. The interior of the condo provided everything we needed. If we did need extra Cathy and Travis were available to take care of it and were great!! Galveston Island provided a lot to do. The ferry ride, beach, ice cream, and restaurants were awesome. We spent about 75% of our time though next to the pool enjoying the sun and relaxing. We hope that one day we can return to Galveston Island and if we do, we know where we are staying. Thanks again Cathy and Travis we really appreciate all your hospitality.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Thank you so much for thinking of everything! This condo is so thoughtfully stocked, I could not have planned better anything better for our stay at Galveston. When I say Cathy and Travis have thought of everything, I am not kidding! There are extra blankets, towels, soap (full sized), tennis rackets, board games, movies, coffee, dishes, beach toys, and even some "fish tanks"...very cute! The condo is clean and homey. My twin 12 year old boys, myself, and my mother were all comfortable and had a great nights sleep, only to wake up in the morning by a beautiful sunrise that we all enjoyed while eating biscuits and jam on the balcony. The view is perfect. The seawall is directly across the street. We took an early morning 2 mile stroll up and down beach. We swam in both pools and ended with a nice soak in the extra hot and powerful hot tubs. (yes there are 2!) The boys played a tennis match and I took a little nap on the comfy futon and listened to the waves! I totally recommend this condo and Cathy and Travis! Stay here for a stress-free, easy relaxing trip away from home. We will be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We found using the condo to be a fabulous experience. It was clean and we'll stocked with everything needed (towels, dishes, plenty of linens,swim toys, coolers,beach chairs, movies etc.) The location was very good - the beach was directly across the street and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The owner was very helpful, she made recommendations on restaurants and activities in the area. I would highly recommend renting this condo to anyone with a family. We had ample space and all of the beds were very comfortable. I would recommend Kelley's restaurant for a huge inexpensive breakfast (about 10 min drive up 1-45), Salas for mexican, Golden Coral for a variety, The Rain Forest Cafe for anyone with young kids. If you get a poor weather day we found the shopping at the Tanger Outlets very good as well as a Houston Astro's baseball game (45 min drive).The pleasure pier was fun too! Overall our experience was very positive and would recommend a trip to Galveston and a must stay at the condo!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Stayed 4 days in Dec and was lucky to have weather that was pleasant. The condo was thoughtfully set up and anything we would need was there (and more). It had a nice view of the sea. Really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back. Totally recommend this place for anybody who is looking to visit Galveston.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car.
