Gulf Crest is one of the newer condos along Thomas Drive on the water. Avoid the Front Beach Road GRIDLOCK and stay on this section of Thomas Drive. Rent a 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront condo on Panama City Beach from owners that live nearby. We take care of everything ourselves. From meeting you on arrival to cleaning and maintaining the unit in tip top shape. New berber carpet and king bedding have been replaced recently. We also have a new Flat Screen TV in the Family room.
One of the few condos that has a Master bedroom with a King bed and the 2nd room has twin beds. Our unit also has high speed INTERNET service from Comcast, 2 DVD's, and big screen TV's. Just a mile to the new RIPLEYS Believe It or Not museum.
Enjoy the HEATED hot tubs and 2 swimming pools (1 seasonally heated) with a sunset view every nite. Plus workout in our EXERCISE ROOM that is equiped with 2 treadmills, vision fitness bike, Schwinn airdyne bike, 3 chair "body solid" home gym and weights with bench.
The parking garage at Gulf Crest is attached to the building, not across the street and our reserved covered parking space is one of the best with easy elevator access.
We are a family oriented NON SMOKING NO PETS condo with one of the lowest rates for this new high rise condo. No need to go hunting all over town for your rental office to check in or to ship keys back and forth in the mail. Gulf Crest is located in the less congested area of Thomas Drive and Joan Ave and as owners we will meet you at the condo on your arrival and acquaint you with the building and the surrounding area.
As locals we can be reached anytime should a problem arise, plus we personally keep this NON SMOKING NO PETS Condo in like new condition and this keeps our rates one of the lowest at Gulf Crest without giving up any amenities. PLEASE, IF THERE IS A SMOKER OR TOBACCO USER OF ANY KIND IN YOUR GROUP, try one of the other condos in Gulf Crest that are smoker friendly. Also if you need a rental for more that five people, please try one of the other units available, we limit our unit to a maximum of 5 people.
You'll find everything to make your stay more enjoyable and won't be running to Wal-Mart every time you turn around. We've tried to furnish not only the basics but extras like binoculars, wine glasses and opener, blender, CD stereo, hair dryers, extra bed pillows, portable fans, games and puzzles, answering machine, cordless phone, beach chairs, beach toys for the kids and lots more(see full amenities below). Plus we have a crib, portable high chair and also a small library of DVD movies.
Enjoy fantastic beach views up and down the 300 feet of sugar white sand beaches with sunsets every night from your beautifully Plantation style decorated condo with rattan, bamboo and wicker. Twin beds in the second bedroom and built in full size twin bunk beds off the dining area, with blackout drapes in the master bedroom.
Within walking distance to Spinaker, LaVela, Pinapple Willies, Emerald Falls mini golf, arcade and race tracks. Just minutes to Cap't Anderson's, The Treasure Ship, Signal Hill Golf. About 10 - 15 minutes to Pier Park.

Why the Owner Chose Gulf Crest
Before Gulf Crest condos there was Gulf Crest mom and pop motel where our out of town guests used to stay when visiting. When they tore the motel down we watched the condo go up, floor by floor, from our backyard and decided to buy a unit there. It is one of the easiest locations to get in and around without gridlock.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Easy access to all areas of the beach without all the traffic jams. Fantastic 300 feet of beach front to enjoy. Seldom crowded. Huge pools with Hot Tubs and Kiddy pool.
Starbucks and restaurants and shopping-like Back Porch, Jimmy Buffet, Guy Harvey, Candymaker, 5 guys, Tootsies, Hofbrau Beer Garden, Also rides like ferris wheel, carosel, train rides. Much more
Soft Ball fields, Tennis courts, kiddie play ground, dog area, walking paths.
This section of Pier Park you will also find Longhorn's, Olive Garden, Panera's, Red Robin,J C Penny's, and 30 or so other shops and restaurants.
This 5 block area you will find Hunt's Oyster Bar, The Captains Table, The Shrimp Boat a handfull of shops plus you can watch the boats come and go from the marina.
This 6-8 block area has several places to eat and many local shops. At the end of Harrison is the Panama City Marina. Marina Civic Center is also here.
This area you will find grocery stores, Sonic, McDonald's, and Magnolia Beach Road takes you to Bay Point. Regions Bank
Boat Yard Restaurant, Captain Anderson, Sea Screamer boat rides. The Treasure Ship is closed due to a fire.

We have stayed at Rich & Kathy's condo two times in the past two years. Both times it far exceeded our expectations. This condo is the cleanest place you will ever find. The accommodations are fantastic and up to date. We have stayed at Gulf Crest many times but never in a unit as clean and nice as Rich and Kathy's. We travel a lot and appreciate all the little things they provide. We get bombarded in our daily lives with surveys and NEVER take the time to fill them out. This condo and owners simply deserve the praise!

I should start by saying that I normally never take the time to write reviews. I felt I should make an exception in this case. We stayed here the 3rd week of July, 2011. We have stayed at Gulfcrest several times before and knew we loved the location. We also have friends who stay at Gulfcrest, so this is a great place for our families to get together and enjoy PCB. This particular condo surpassed our expectations. Kathy and Rich truly think of everything for everyone, including our 10 month grandbaby! Many times during the week, we would decide to run to the store to get something we needed, only to discover it was already provided for us. Unfortunately, the water wasn't great that week (first time that has ever happened to us), but the jetties are always wonderful so after beach days there, we were always glad to return to "our" condo. Truly a home away from home. We left anxious to return and plan to see you next summer. Thank you so much for the goodies and the comforts of your home!

We have used VRBO to rent condos all over the Florida area, and while we are usually very happy with the places we rent, this was by far over very favorite. It was absolutely PERFECT in every way. It was beautifully furnished and such attention given to detail. The owners thought of everything when stocking the condo. In addition, I'm a complete clean freak, and the place was immaculate. The views from the balcony were incredible. The only bad thing about our entire stay was having to leave. A week just wasn't enough. Thanks for the best vacation we've had in some time. Also, thank you for the restaurant tips, information concerning my daughter's wedding, the cute little snack basket, well, everything! You guys are wonderful, and I can't wait to rent from you again. Hopefully, it'll be soon - really soon!

We just had one of the best vacations we've ever had anywhere on the Gulf. This condo was completely appointed with everything we needed; all we had to do was buy groceries! Beautifully, yet comfortably decorated, with a 17th floor direct Gulf view from the over-sized balcony. Our kids really appreciated the twin beds, along with the built-in bunks. Many extras are also nearby: Ripley's Museum, Wonder Works, and several excellent beachside and sit-down restaurants (we love Schooners and Pineapple Willey's). It was so nice to be able to communicate directly with Rich and Kathy and they were willing to make a quick compromise with a last minute emergency change. This one will definitely be flagged as our favorite place to stay in PCB!

You will not find a better condo in PCB! The condo is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. This was our 4th year in a row to stay in the condo, and we are definitely coming back for a 5th year. It was well worth every penny!

We stayed in Kathy and Rich's condo the week of June 12 - June 19. It was amazingly clean and well cared for. The kitchen was fully stocked, the condo spacious and everything seemed so fresh. The view of the beach was perfect! The small touches were so appreciated including a small basket of munchies, directions to everything in the condo and PCB and a few books/games/DVDs for the lazy afternoons. We have been coming to PCB for 8 years and this is the best condo by far. I would highly recommend!

We understand as first time renters the hesitation to renting from total strangers. As landlords we have the same hesitation to renting our condo to strangers.
