An additional fee may be required. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE/ DIETARY NEEDS: Guests needing Special Assistance and / or Dietary Needs, please advice staff at the time the reservation is made. Children OVER the age of 12 are welcome to stay. •Our rates are based on single / double occupancy only - Maximum of 2 persons/room- No exceptions. •Guests generating excessive noise or bothering other guests will be asked to leave the Inn immediately and held responsible for all room fees. •We are a Smoke Free Inn. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, which includes not only the guest rooms but the grounds and the outside decks and patios. Guests smoking in rooms will be charged a minimum of $250 for cleaning and repair. The final charge will include all actual costs plus any lost income. • Candles and Incense burning are not allowed in guest rooms or on patios or decks for insurance and security reasons. There is also unlimited time parking on streets adjacent to the Inn. We will be happy to give you more parking information upon your arrival.

About the owner: I am an engineer and Vietnam Veteran. Been married for 15 years to a school teacher from the Yucatan, Valladolid to be precise. I have lived here and traveled around the world to work. Since we have stayed in B and B's all over the US and Europe we decided to do the same thing ourselves but in a small way.
Why the Owner Chose Valladolid:
We live in Valladolid, my wife was born here. We have always wanted to have a small hotel with a great restaurant and where better than in one of the most beautiful and interesting places on earth. In this way we can share our love of Valladolid and the Mayab with those who also love to travel and learn incredible things. We are one hour from the Caribbean, one hour from the Flamingos and sandy street beach towns on the Gulf, 20 minutes from Ek Balam, Coba and Chichen Itza. What the Maya consider to be the center of the universe.

Every Bed and Breakfast offers a place to stay and a good meal. Ours is different from some others in the region in that it is very intimate and the food is great. All rooms are excellent in very high quality from the furniture to the linens and even towels. You can expect to be treated like royalty here at Chez Valhalla.
We are a two minute walk from the park known as Santa Lucia. A quiet beautiful place to be any hour of the day! We are a three minute cab ride to the center of town and it costs one US Dollar.
