New & efficient TRAMWAY in Nice! Several stops for the old town, takes you around Nice like a breeze: to train station, to shopping area, etc.
Beautiful & spacious condo in a historic building, recently & faithfully renovated, with a well-equipped kitchen, and very spacious living room. The charming bedroom has a STUNNING VIEW of the pedestrian steps leading to the ruins of the Medieval Château and its park. Walk up those steps for a panoramic view of Nice!
Hand-carved wooden beams all across the ceilings... Provencal decor... Old-world charm and ambiance. All of apt floors & kitchen wall have lovely tiles from Provence.
PRIVATE entrance from the ground floor with its short staircase to the 2nd floor living area. Very private, feels like a townhouse!
Sleeps 6 people:
with French queen sized bed in very separate bedroom,
1 single bed, 1 double bed and queen sofa bed in huge living-room.
This condo was a 2 br unit but its large space has been modernized into a very spacious 1 br condo. It certainly can accommodate a group of 4 very comfortably.
It has often slept parties of 5 or 6 people.
Large space & easy access are ideal for families with children.
Antique farm table in dining area sits 8 people! Unique & artistic decor, with many original works of art.
Bathroom just got renovated Dec 2008, with beautiful tiles, shower area with rainfall shower head.
People in the Old Town of Nice are very friendly, you will have the opportunity to practice your French!
We are on a street lined with art galleries & boutiques. Wake up to fresh bread at your doorstep, one of the best bakeries of Nice is next door! Shop for fresh pasta, vegetables, meat, wine in small local stores. Acchiardo restaurant (in NY times article) is across from us!
Vieux Nice is a historic & trendy area, with a very vibrant & colorful atmosphere, reflecting the soul of Nice, with its beautiful buildings, churches & cathedral.
You will be immersed in the local artistic life.

You certainly do not need a car in this location:
The main bus station is a very short walk away! Many buses will take you anywhere along the Riviera & the back country for only 1 euro!
The train station is withing walking distance or by tramway:
Easy access to the towns along the coast (Cannes, Villefranche, Monaco, Marseille) and Italy (Milan, Tuscany, Rome) as well as the back country of Nice (Grasse, Vence, St Paul de Vence) and Provence. TGV trains to Paris, Lyon, etc. It is a TGV (high speed)train stop.
If you do have a car, there is parking on the streets or inexpensive underground parking.
Take the Tramway of walk to the ACROPOLIS for those of you in town for conferences.
We offer airport transfer for a reasonable fee.

My wife, my daughter and I have just returned from your great apartment in Nice. It was everything I remembered it to be; comfortable, sufficiently spacious, relatively cool and ideally located. Nice and its environs, the great sea and beautiful weather took over from there to provide us with a super vacation. I trust we'll be in touch again.
