  This apartment was everything my husband and I hoped for and more. The owner's thoughtful and creative design warmed the heart and gave pleasure to our eyes. For the 5 days we spent in Budapest, our home, in comfort, style and safety was here on 17 Nador street! The apartment is so close to everything, we walked everywhere, except for morning runs along the river and on Margaret Island. Our walks brought us to Hereos Square/CIty Park, the Great Market Hall, St. Stephen's Basilica (5 minutes away). After touring the Great Market Hall, by accident we found the funky "For Sale Pub" and shared a pot of Goulash soup that was fantastic. Nick, who welcomed us to the apartment, was super. He spent a lot of time with us to establish our bearings and point out good restaurants. Wish we had more time in this wonderful city but we will be back to explore more using this apartment as our home once again! Dank u wel, Thank you Alexandra and Nick!   A perfect place for a stay in Budapest. The apartment has a lot of space, is well decorated and clean. All there is to see and to do is in a very short distance; restaurants and bars around the corner. Although the apartment is on the ground floor in the center of the city inside there is no noise whatsoever from the street. Parking the car is safe and cheap (about € 75 for a week in a safe parking garage), about 500 meters from the apartment. Both Alexandra and Nick are very friendly and helpfull, they did their utmost best to help us and to make us feel at home. Thank you again. We surely recommend this property for a shorter or a longer stay in Budapest.

  The apartment was all and more than described. It was beautiful and very well positioned and comfortable. We were met by Nick who patiently waited for us( I got the flight time a bit wrong) he was very helpful and pointed out good places to eat and drink in the area. The apartment was superbly placed for all the sites we wanted to see in Budapest, although we will return to see the rest. We have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and will stay here again when we return.

  The apartment is spacious, quiet, with a great design and very clean. It is located very centrally in Budapest, with everything nearby (supermarket, bakery, restaurants, not far away from the next metro station). The photos on the website give a good impression! There is also a backyard you can breakfast or have a smoke, which is shared with workers from an office. In the evening, the backyard is yours. The service was great, the owner's son gave us the keys personally and provided all necessary information and also his phone number in case we would need help. If you want stay in a very special luxury apartment during your stay in Budapest, I recommend this place.

  We recently visited Budapest for six days and renting your apartment made our trip very memorable. The apartment is very modernized and stylish, you should be very proud. It was also great to have your brother available if we had questions about the apartment or Budapest in general. The location was perfect and we would definitely rent again if we return to Budapest.   We rented this apartment for part of our honeymoon in Budapest. It was a beautiful space which looked exactly as it did in the pictures. The apartment was very clean and it was great to have laundry there. There is a back patio which is shared with neighbours (who were really never there except during the day) so that was fine; however, we wished there was a private balcony or terrace to sit on that had a view of the city. The owner's brother met us upon arrival to let us in and told us all the good places to visit. The owner also has a binder full of information on history, where to go, eat, etc., which was so helpful as it was our first time in Budapest. The apartment is located in a central location which was perfect for us as we walked everywhere. It was close to everything which was a huge bonus as there was no need to take public transportation or taxis. I would definitely recommend this apartment to others!

  We stayed in this fabulous apartment for 7 nights in May/June 2012. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is situated on the ground floor and is very modern and spacious. The lounge, equipped with a large screen TV and leather sofa, a modern and well equipped kitchen including dining table, a study room and toilet/shower, are all situated downstairs and the main bathroom with bath/shower, bedroom and a spacious landing are upstairs. The apartment is situated in a great location. Withing walking distance is St. Stephen's Basilica, the Danube promenade, the Chain Bridge, the Gresham Palace, Vaci Street, Andrassy Street, and the Parliament buildings, among other attractions. There are numerous coffee houses, restaurants, bakeries all within walking distance. The only disappointment we had was with the ground floor patio, situated off the lounge. This initially appealled to us when booking the apartment, but unfortunately we never used it as it is a communal patio with the employees next door using it for their smoke breaks throughout the day. It also didn't get any direct sunlight. However, in mentioning the above downfall, this would not put me off staying here again as we loved the apartment, its luxury, cleanliness, comfort and location. Everything about the apartment was fabulous and we would not hesitate in staying here again.

  My wife and I had a wonderful 2 weeks in Budapest while staying at this lovely apartment. The initial poor impression given by the entrance to the building is quickly dispelled by the clean, nicely decorated, and spacious apartment itself. On the main floor is the entrance, a huge high domed living room with large screen TV and expansive sofa, a patio off the living room (ignore the second patio mentioned in the web site, it's not particularly useful), a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and even a study. On the second floor is a cozy bedroom, a bathroom with a combination washer/dryer, and an area with extensive closets. One of the biggest attractions to this apartment is its location. During our previous stays in Budapest we found ourselves using the subway much of the time. On this occasion we found we could walk just about everywhere. St. Stephen's Basilica, the Danube promenade, the Chain Bridge, the Gresham Palace, Vaci Street, Andrassy Street, and the Parliament buildings, among other attractions, are all minutes away. The famous castle district, the museum, the Opera house, and much else are anywhere from 25 to 50 minutes away. Numerous coffee houses, restaurants, bakeries and the like are within a short walk also. The supermarket down the road is convenient. For fresh vegetables and fruit, as well as local meats and delicacies, try the Inner City Market on Hold Street about 10 minutes walk away. The bakery on Bank Street near Hold is excellent too. There are no telephone facilities in the apartment, which can be inconvenient depending on whether you can use your existing mobile phone plan reasonably in Hungary. As Canadians our best solution was to use Skype on our iPhone over the available Wi-Fi for calling taxis, local friends, etc. If you need a phone, make your own arrangements. Alexandra was easy to deal with by e-mail in setting up the rental. Nick was our contact at the apartment and was very helpful and courteous. We will definitely rent this apartment again next time we are in Budapest. One couldn't ask for an apartment that is more comfortable, spacious, and well located.

  My young family spent 3 nights in budapest. This Apartment was our home base. It was perfectly located next to great restaurants and beautiful parks. It is extremely quiet and very clean. The service was excellent and very cordial. The unit would rival nice hotels in furnishings and with an unbelievable price tag.

  Absolutely stunning apartment which more than lives up to the pictures on the website. The kitchen and bathrooms where fitted to an extremely high standard and the whole apartment was super clean! The apartment was also tastefully decorated and furnished with quality items and fittings. Comfort levels offered in the main lounge and bedroom couldn't be faulted. Budapest is a beautiful and brilliant city to visit and compared to some European cities it offered exceptional value. The location couldn't be better being less than five minutes from the Danube, the stunning Basilica and one of Budapest's main shopping streets the Vaci Utca. So looking forward to returning to Hungary and would have no hesitation in renting this apartment once again. Owners Alexandra & Paul where more than helpful during and after the booking process and whilst we were there in Budapest.

  Hi, We have stayed in many rentals in lots of different countries and we can say without doubt this is the best one by far. The accommodation is spread over 2 floors paying close attention to every detail. The property is bigger than the pictures do it justice and has everything you could possibly want for the ideal getaway. Located in the business district but just a short walk away from the center means it is in an ideal and safe part of the city and just two blocks away from the Danube. The owners will provide you with all the information you need and are so welcoming they feel like long lost friends. At the end of our holidays we always ask ourselves if we would stay at the same place, the answer is 100% yes and we wouldn't even bother looking at others. Rest assured if you have booked this place that you are in for a wonderful stay and i have to say also that Budapest is a beautiful city. Thank you Martha-Jane and Alexandra for allowing us to stay here. David and Perla

  Is there such a thing as too much room?  A couple could stay here for months and not feel cramped.  The audio-video setup in the living room, the sleek kitchen, the convenient WiFi, a unique washer-dryer combination (for an American anyway) in the huge master bathroom - it’s all designed very nicely by Alexandra herself.  We were there four days but never needed to use the kitchen.  There is an absolutely wonderful breakfast spot on a side street about 25 meters from the front door of the building, and a good neighborhood restaurant across the street from that.  In fact, good restaurants abound in the area.  It is a terrific location that is easy to get anywhere on foot or to convenient metro stops. Beyond that, I will forever feel a debt to Alexandra for first, sending a taxi to get us at night at the Keleti railroad station and second, sending me my iPod Touch, which I forgot in the apartment when we left for Zagreb.  I can hardly wait to go back to Budapest, and this apartment would be my first choice as the place to stay.

  It is not often that you can honestly say there is nothing that could be improved upon but this is our second visit to this beautiful apartment. The location is central and it is an oasis of quiet; comfortable and spotless. The apartment is well equipped, from the washing machine and microwave to WIFI and large screen TV this is a fabulous find and we will certainly be returning again. Super place for couples, grown-ups and families; we stayed with 3 children who love Budapest and all it has to offer. Our opinion: Five Star, 10 out of 10, 100 %. Cannot recommend it enough!

  L'appartamento è delizioso, situato al piano terra di uno stabile d'epoca, ristrutturato recentemente e rifinitissimo in tutto. Centralissimo, la Basilica è a 5 munti a piedi e Vorosmarty Ter a soli 10 minuti. Arredamento di gusto con ogni comfort. La cucina è attrezzatissima, c'è tutto quello che serve. Due bagni di cui uno con vasca ed uno con doccia, la camera da letto è accogliente, il letto è comodissimo, ne troppo duro ne troppo morbido. Il riscaldamento è autonomo e può essere regolato a piacimento. Fantastico l'impianto Home Theatre con plasma 50". Tutto pulitissimo e accogliente, inoltre i proprietari sono persone squisite sempre pronte ad aiutare in caso di minimo problema. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti! Grazie!

  This apartment is a lot better than the description. It’s beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was very clean. The owner was there when we arrived. She was very helpful and gave us a lot of information. There was also a binder in the apartment with a lot of very useful information. The kitchen was clean and well supplied with what we needed. All the appliances worked, the refrigerator and freezer were both very clean. It was so convenient to cook and heat up food (like those wonderful Hungarian sausages). We enjoyed eating in the apartment. The living room was very spacious! The sofa was very comfortable for our daughter to sleep. The bedroom was warm and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was pretty big and clean. I love the bathroom sink! We drove here from Vienna, but after we got here, we did not need to drive anywhere because it is close to everything! We were able to walk everywhere. New Year’s eve was very festive! We love that place so much, it was hard to leave!

  Wow beautiful flat and really centrally located. My favorite restaurant was Pomodoro which was literally around the corner. The flat is large enough that we could have brought our children since we could have used the pull out bed in the living room couch. The people renting it were very professional, cleaning was done efficiently and it was a great place to come out of the hustle and bustle of the city that's right outside the main inner courtyard. If we come back to Budapest this would be the first place we would hope was available for our stay.
