The Red house is a 2 bdrm/1 bath house located on 2.5 acres directly on the water. Huge green lawn with 100 year old cypress trees. 1 bedroom has a queen bed with a door that opens directly onto the deck. The 2nd bedroom has 2 full size beds bunk style, in the den there are 2 queen sleeper sofas. Sleeps 10 max. Fenced front yard for pets. Quaint antique red house fully renovated 2 years ago inside and out. Overlooks the water and the property is 2.5 acres directly on the water with a brand new cement shoreline and boat ramp. Kayaking, fishing, swimming, new dock by the launching ramp.

We spent two weeks at Camp Willow in the red house and for the most part it was very pleasant. There were no reviews so here are some things you should know, good and bad, before you rent this house. It had a large well equipped kitchen which seemed clean but we had to spray twice to kill several large cockroaches. (maybe just a south Texas thing) It had a nice living area with two couches, one good and one worn out and should have been replaced long ago. Bedroom ! had a comfortable bed, lots of drawer space and a large closet.Bedroom 2 had a bunk bed with one good mattress and one worn out mattress, lots of drawer space but a closet only 24" wide. Large bathroom with a double vanity but no lighting over mirrors and a very small shower stall. (only 28" wide) View from deck was nice but partually blocked by large camper trailer parked right in front of the house. Setting was nice but house next door was rented to a family with 5 dogs that barked at anything that moved day or night. Neighborhood was a mixture of nice houses on the river and several run down houses with a large yard full of junk just outside the camp.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.

all holiday variable due to amount of days you want to stay. High season is memorial thru labor day weekend. Mid season in fall ends after wurstfest. in spring starts spring break in march. Low season starts after Wurstfest and ends Mar 1. Will do weddings, family reunions and company partys. price will vary depending on the amount of people. Must get liability insurance for the day of the event.
